Pros: xs fits pretty well for a female 5'6', 129 lbs, with small, but not tiny, hands. Material helps pad the fingers. Fit of the gloves to the wrist is good. Man-made gripping surface grips well when dry. Gloves appear well made and they arrived fast. Cons: When man-made surface is dry, it is too sticky and grips too well to easily transfer the outrigger canoe paddle from one hand to the other hand, when changing stroke sides. Paddlers will understand. When man-made surface is wet, it is TOO slippery on the paddle shaft.... the shaft slips a lot and so there is not a firm grip on the paddle shaft, and it results in zero power and can mess up the timing if you are not an experienced paddler who can quickly regroup. Overall: I will save these gloves when gardening or moving something dry like furniture or yard stuff. I won't be able to use these for paddling. these gloves might work ok for waterskiing BUT because they are slippery when wet, maybe not. ... show more

The fit and quality are pretty good, however once the gloves get wet I had a bad time with it, it got quite slippery and unfortunately the moisture never goes away as the neoprene soaked up the water. I almost fell in the water because my hand slipped during SUP paddle. I had to maintain a tight grip to finish the trip which hindering. I got the gloves wet from re-entering the water. If your hands are dry they are good, do not get them wet especially for SUP where you are bracing yourself most of the time. Got them for my son. He’s on a rowing team. He said they have improved his strokes! His hands aren’t so sore or blistering after a race. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a glove for this sport.

I have the short finger version of thus glove so I decided to try the full finger for fall and winter paddling. They fit my small hands well and I don't lose my grip on on paddle

I hve hyperhidrosis on my hand and feet, and these gloves work really well. I orderred an xs and they were still a little big on me, but this has not been a big issue.

    • Good grip but….
I used these on a dragon boat practice. The grip was great but I noticed I got a blister on my left palm that tore when I took my glove off. In terms of grip it was great but u need to build up my callouses as well.
