I have looked for a while for a crossbody leather bag that has a north/south orientation and this bag fits the bill. I will say it is a very slim bag, which when combined with not the strongest magnetic snap, comes open frequently.

Here's why I love it...It has two compartments and three card slots. It is not bulky. Any phone you have will definitely fit in. My phone has an otterbox cover and will not fit most of this type of bag. But this one fit my phone comfortably. The other compartment can fit your small wallet, reading glasses or your battery charger. It also has an outside pocket where you can slide your receipt. And the look is simply beautiful. I like the ribbon accent outside. I got mine in black because that the one that is on sale. This bag is soft leather. I like how it feels. It has a magnetic closure, so it is easy to take and put your phone back in. Unlike cheap leather that has a smell, this one don't have any smell. I am so lucky I found it when it is on sale. This bag is pricey,,I know but you are paying for the quality and of course Kate Spade is a popular brand. This is my very first bag from Kate Spade and I was not disappointed.
