I worried about getting this for my daughter. She'd be thrilled with Kate Spade, but would the quality be sufficient? The size? The pattern? It was a beautiful YES to all of those. She especially appreciated that the bag would stand up by itself because as a teacher, she takes a lot of stuff to and from the classroom, and with the bag self-supporting, she can more easily and quickly load it up and get on with business (or fun!). She also likes that the straps are long enough to go over her shoulder and be an actual "shoulder bag," freeing her hands for more stuff and unlocking/opening doors.
