I've been using this 12-pack of BIC Cristal Xtra Smooth pens for the past couple of weeks and they're exactly what you'd expect from BIC - reliable and consistent. The 1.0mm medium point writes smoothly without skipping, and the ink flow is even throughout. I appreciate that they actually live up to the "extra smooth" claim compared to regular Cristal pens. Great value for money - 12 pens at this price point is hard to beat, and they last a surprisingly long time with daily use. The classic clear barrel design lets you see ink levels, and the blue ink is vibrant without being too dark. Perfect for note-taking, office work, or just having around the house. My only minor gripe is that the caps can come off a bit too easily in my bag, but that's typical for most ballpoint pens.
