Listen, if you’re a high-volume photographer, you know the "Arctic White" struggle. Most paper rolls are basically glorified tissue paper—one step from a stiletto or a toddler’s tantrum and the whole set is ruined. I run a Travel Studio based in Atlantic County, NJ, and we’ve put this Kate Seamless Paper through the absolute ringer. Here is the unfiltered truth: The "Thick" Factor This isn’t that flimsy, translucent stuff you find in budget kits. It’s dense. It has a high-end, heavy-duty weight to it that lays flat immediately. No annoying curling at the edges or ripples that you have to spend hours Photoshop-ing out later. Built for Abuse Our creative sessions are intense. We’re moving gear, clients are walking all over it, and we’re constantly shifting setups. This paper takes a beating and holds its own. It’s incredibly durable; we’ve found it resists scuffs and tears far better than the leading "big name" brands we used to use. The Color "Arctic White" is actually white. It’s crisp, it’s clean, and it doesn’t have that weird yellow or blue undertone that messes with your white balance. It reflects light beautifully for that high-key look but is thick enough to prevent any "show-through" from whatever is behind your stand. FOR THE PROS: If you’re a pro or a high-end hobbyist, stop wasting money on the cheap rolls. You'll end up throwing half the roll away because of creases. We’ve switched the Julia Bailey Photography setup over to Kate exclusively for our studio work because the cost-per-use is unbeatable when the paper actually lasts.     • It’s all you need for a professional setup

As an actor, I self-tape auditions regularly, and for the longest time I was using a bedsheet as a backdrop. I finally decided to step up to a more professional setup, and this backdrop paper has been one of the best purchases I’ve made. The matte finish is fantastic. It doesn’t create distracting reflections from my lights, so my videos look much cleaner and more professional. It comes on a roll, so setup is incredibly easy—just unroll the amount you need and you’re ready to film. What really sold me is that you never have to deal with wrinkles. If you’re considering one of those fabric backdrops, don’t waste your money. No matter what you do, you’ll eventually be fighting wrinkles, and they absolutely show up on camera. Trying to iron or steam a huge piece of fabric every time you need to film gets old fast. This paper backdrop completely eliminates that problem. My auditions look so much better, it was reasonably priced, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Budget friendly option if you purchase the 4 ft roll for product photos. The paper feels nice and is a nice color. Comes in a thick box that can be used to store and protect the roll.

came with a crease throughout the whole background. When I opened it, it was too late for an Amazon refund. I contacted the customer service of a brand, and they offered 50% refund. I think the full refund or an exchange would be the real solution here, that's why I left 3 stars here. I am forced to use this and ask photographers to edit this, not professional at all. I understand this may have happened during shipping, but this doesn't make it better for me. If there was no crease, the paper looks nice - the quality. But unfortunately, I don't have a great case here. If it were for my shoots, I'd be ok with that, but I rent out the studio and photographers pay for a background pull ... show more
