I've been fishing Drop-shot style since before it was called Drop-shot. We just called it fishin'... I fell in love with the beautiful colors of this rod and it's matching reel. Then I did some research on the Rod selection they offer. I chose the 7'2" Spinning Drop-shot version. My fishing partner (my oldest Grandson, Gabriel) loved the looks of it as well. After using it a few days I noticed I was catching more fish than my Grandson. He is 14, I am 61, his reactions are ten times faster than mine. He usually doubles what I catch. And laughs when i have to re-bait without a fish to show... I returned from a trip to the restroom. And found my Grandson fishing with my new Fishing Pole! When I asked why he was using my pole, "You're catching more fish than me!" was the answer. He proceeded to show me that indeed the rod felt more bites. Good thing he has a Birthday coming up soon... I want my rod back! lol ... show more
