I only recently got back into fishing - haven’t been since my youth, so 20+ years. Most of my fishing takes place in the ponds within my subdivision- either from the bank/dock, or on my kayak. As I tend to do, I’ve gone headlong into my new favorite hobby! Seven-ish months in, I’ve got a fistful of 3600s full of every lure I can get my hands on, 5-6 different rods, countless packs of lil plastic worms… I’d been using a little $5 Walmart Ozark Trail bag to keep all my stuff … until it’d developed countless rips and was all but useless. So, it was time for a new bag. Given the amount of time I’ve spent in the last 6-7 months on the bank, I was okay to drop a little bit of cash on something to hold all my stuff. I’ve had previous good luck/experience with KastKing so they were the first brand I checked out when searching for a new fishing pack. First thing I was vastly impressed with the amount of capacity and internal storage options. I love the pouch on the front of the sling- perfect for keeping your cell phone and/or quick access to frequently used items. I use it for whatever soft plastics I’m using that day, as well as my wacky tool and o-rings. I also keep my scissors in the front pouch and clipped my pliers to the D ring on the front strap. The pouches on either side of the outside are perfect for my 32oz water bottle. The very front of the outside is great for a spool or two of line. The main compartments are vast and I presently have 2x 3600s in one compartment and one in the other. There is an additional mesh zippered pouch in the main compartment that works well for a very small box. There’s also a sleeve on the inside of the main compartment that seems like it could hold an iPad or something of the sort. Basically this bag DOES NOT lack on storage space for nearly any fishing application I can imagine. I cannot wholly attest to the water/weather-resistance, I’ve only had it out in light/moderate rain - it seems to be just fine so far. The included tackle boxes are a great value add-on- they seem to be of a slightly higher quality than the Planos I’ve become accustomed to. If I had any complaints, I’d say this bag may be *too much* for some fishing journeys. If you’re just heading out to the backyard pond, this bag could be a bit cumbersome. But, for a full day at the lake, whether on the bank or on the boat, this bag definitely meets and exceeds my expectations. Would definitely recommend!

This bag has all the well-thought-out storage you would want for light, highly-mobile fishing duty. The pliers holster is a great addition that can be attached in several places. When you need fishing pliers, you usually have the other hand already full --possibly with a thrashing fish with a lure with multiple treble hooks in its mouth-- and it's really handy to have pliers close at hand and easily accessible. When on the move, you can move them inside or to a more suitable spot for hiking, etc. The two included tackle boxes are a nice bonus, and the dividers are already in place, saving you from having that PITA job of cutting out and installing the dividers. The drawback is, the divided storage areas are small; good for terminal tackle and small jigs and lures, but too small for stick baits, most crank baits, etc. (An easy fix by cutting out some of the dividers.) I use the pack more for hiking than fishing! I find it just the right size for the things I usually carry on a hike or while metal detecting, etc. Perfect! And the best thing about this pack is the price. I think it's a great value with a lot of utility.

WOW, Where to start. This tackle bag is really nice. There are so many compartments for fishing gear. Really nice stitching and nice movement of the zippers. This is super handy. No more carrying a heavy tackle bag while on the move. With it slung over my shoulder, off I go. Saves me a hand for other items to carry. Another great product from KastKing. Ps: Everytime I look at it, I find another zipper with another place to store stuff. Also has a spot for a water bottle. I'm loving it...

The bag is pretty heavy duty with lots of different pockets, including a perfect cell phone pocket across the chest strap. Would have given it 5 stars but the lid on the plastic storage containers dont sit super tight against the cells so my hooks all slid out of their designated sections. Other than that it's a solid bag that im sure will last me for years to come.

First off, I received my order on time and in great condition. My quick impressions are that the pack is sturdy and will hold up to my aggressive fishing style of hiking or kayaking into hard to get to places. The sling style fishing back pack is made with sturdy zippers and hook and loop closures that secure the many functional pockets. The plastic lure boxes are sturdy and bigger than I was expecting which will allow me to carry more lure options! :) I don’t carry a laptop out on the trail or on the water but the thin pocket is great for my water bladder. There are also two bottle pockets on the sides if you don’t use a bladder style water container. The off color flag patch sticks via hook and loop so you can easily change it out to your favorite patch. All in all, I like the purchase and have recommended it to my fishing buddies! Cheers, Robert

I do a lot of biking and hiking where I take a couple of rods with me. This is the perfect companion to carry all of my fishing gear without the need for a tackle box. This is a well made sling that comes with 2 tackle bins. Lots of storage space. You need this.
