  • Big, durable boat bag. Great price.
Color: Glacier White Size: 30L
I just received this bag, here are my first impressions. The good: The material and seams appear solid the clips and attachment points seem really strong. The bag is near air tight when I squeeze it. I won’t be able to test for water tightness until more snow goes away here in Colorado. I’ll use this as a boat bag for day long kayak trips. 30 L is really big! I’ll be comfortable if my partner uses this on her paddle board. The side pouch is likely not water proof but pretty splash proof . it will be good for keys wallet size stuff. I like the dual shoulder straps. The handle is also solid. The less than good: the clips and swivels On the shoulder straps are plastic; I bet one breaks some day. The bag won’t stand on its bottom while empty; it is still a soft side bag Conclusion: at a $20-25 price point this is a great value. The shoulder straps may not make it; but this is a boat bag, not a back pack I’ll be able to adapt. I’ll try to update this after I get the bag out on the water. ... show more

  • Cute and functional
Really liked the storage size and straps are easy to adjust. Not too bulky and is comfortable on my side & back when I wear it either way. Really simple to rinse it off with a hose if it gets in the water.

  • Great Size and Very Waterproof
Color: Gunmetal Size: 30L
Dry bags are one of those products that you didn't realize you needed until you have a few. The KastKing 30L dry bag is ideal for carrying a full change of clothes if you're someone who works in or around the water and getting into something dry and warm could be the difference between life and death. I do a good bit of kayaking and duck hunting. Both activities put me in or near bodies of water that are hovering just above freezing temperatures. Because of this, it's important to keep emergency supplies on hand, like a full change of clothes if you were to fall in the water. Of course you can also carry nonessential items as well, like beach towels, food, and other stuff. This bag is large enough, and the design is sturdy enough that I would feel totally comfortable storing clothes, fire starters, flares and signals, and other emergency equipment in a kayak, boat, or ATV. The bag is of good quality and appears to be 100% air and water tight. Mine arrived with two shoulder straps, presumably so I could use it as a backpack if I needed to. Pricing was great and delivery was quick and efficient. I would recommend this to anybody who worked or played around water, dirt, sand, or mud. It also came with a dry bag for your cell phone, which is a nice added bonus. Overall, I'm impressed with the item and look forward to many years of use with it. ... show more

  • nice and big!
Well I needed something to keep my metal detector from getting wet on a trip. I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong or if it was the bag. Half the trip it did fine. The second half no matter what I did I could not keep water out. Seems very thick and sturdy. I will probably take it on my canoeing trips next year just to see how it does. ... show more

  • What I was hoping for kayak fishing
Color: Bright Yellow Size: 10L
I bought the 10L for kayak fishing. The size is about right, I could maybe even have gone with the 5L as I don't bring a lot of extra tackle. It is not too big to get in the way of the paddle or rod. I put the strap over my shoulder and wear it sort of like a backpack The main bag material is made from strong rubber material like an inflatable kayak. Pretty tough and reinforced. It should hold up to abrasions. I wanted something to keep my keys dry. All the seals on the main bag are heat-welded so are not going to let water in. The extra side bag is perfect for my fishing license (which is waterproof anyway) and keys. It has a triple closure seal and extra buoyancy that should keep it floating in case I drop it. But it also comes with a cord so that should not be a problem anyway. It is not as good a material but should be tough enough. It does not have a zipper to close the main bag. Instead the top is sealed by closing it in a loop. Hard to describe but no water is going to splash in and probably would keep water out even if you submerged it (I haven't tried). Overall a quality bag. Attractive too. Not a piece of cheap junk. I'm happy with it and may try the 5L. ... show more

  • Exactly what I wanted
Color: Glacier White Size: 10L
I purchased the 10l dry bag for float tube fishing. I wanted a place to keep a towel, my keys/wallet, maybe a spare shirt. Stuff I wanted on me but wouldn't need and didn't want to get wet. The first thing I did when I got my dry bag was try it out. I rolled it as instructed and gave it a giant bear hug and tried hard to squeeze out the air inside. I was able to get it to "unroll" once, but I squeezed way more than I think this bag will ever have to endure on the water and it held up fine. I filled up a 5 gallon bucked and stuck some tissues in the phone case, and dry bag (big compartment and zipper one). I then submerged the bag and phone case and left it there for hours. I came back and the inside of the bag was dry. I did notice when I opened it, a little bit of water came in because of the way I was holding the bag. Some of the water that was on the outside sort of trickled in because I was pushing down on the lip. That's my bad though. There is a plastic liner on the top of the dry bag that I think helps with the seal? It is sort of clingy getting stuff in and out, for me this is fine since my intent with this bag is to keep a few select things dry while I'm on the water, and then grabbing them when I'm off. If you're going to be opening and closing this bag a lot, this would get annoying. The outside zipper compartment is definitely not waterproof as the damp destroyed tissues would attest to. The phone case seems solid. The tissue was dry. I like that it's floating. The mechanism is there are two clasps the hold together the folded part. You can fold the case three times (like the dry bag) and on each fold is a sealing clasp (like a ziplock). But I don't think the mechanism to get a phone in and out is very convenient. I have a different case with 1 zipper and clasp covers that clamp down. I think I'll stick to that one, though this is a nice backup or gift to someone else. I'm very content with the case, confident it'll do well in the water and keep my stuff dry. ... show more
