So after reading another review on here I was a little hesitant, but I'm pretty handy, let me give it a shot, plus the price was right. After receiving it I do have to say the instructions were kind of a joke, it was one piece of paper straight off a copier machine, you are definitely going to have to read the instructions and then look at the pictures on Amazon. But honestly, it wasn't hard, kind of like putting together a tent for the first time, you scratch your head for a little bit and then it just goes together. The tubes are covered in protective plastic... It took all but 2 seconds to remove the plastic coverings, super simple I'm glad they're on there to protect the rods. From start to finish putting it together and installing on my boat probably took about 30 - 45 minutes, super simple. I did have to cut the rubber rings that fix to the wakeboard tower in order to get them on and the clamps around them. I think the quality is great, had no issues, and like that the fabric zips on and off so you can store it when you're not using the boat. I purchased a bimini top that someone else returned. The Installation instructions are terrible,but I figured it out. Some scratches on it but expected that. Overall I saved a good bit of money. Well worth it to purchased returned items.

Absolutely horrible assembly instructions. If not for the photos on the Amazon listing it would have been very difficult. All metal pieces are wrapped in cling plastic that’s a pain in the butt to remove. The canvas took two people to stretch over the frame and heard multiple pops of threads so I’m doubting the longevity of the canvas. It looks great once assembled though. ... show more

This is a very nice universal Bimini, especially for the price. I installed it on my wakeboard tower by myself in slightly less than two hours. All the needed angles are easily allowed by loosening the end fittings and all tools are provided. I highly recommend this Bimini top.

This bimini top was exactly what I was looking for, without the $1k price tag. As stated before, the instructions are not even worth reading, but it’s super simple to figure out from the photos. I assembled it all inside the house before I took it out to the boat. The canvas is a VERY tight fit, pay attention to the tag that says “front”, it won’t fit if it’s backwards. Requested 1-7/8” spacers and worked well on my 2004 Malibu swoop tower. Still debating on whether to remove the canvas, or drop the whole frame assembly when towing. Getting the canvas on was a pain. I’m pleased so far and can’t wait to get on the water to try it out. Seller was very responsive which was a plus! ... show more

At first i was like I doubt this will work on our tower, but i ordered it and honestly its great for the price and does work on different style towers as long as you have 2 places to mount on each side! The instructions are absolutely horrible but if you look at the pictures on Amazon its easy to figure out! Definitely worth the $$. Its not super big but definitely enough shade and worth the price. We were able to get it under our tower speakers and still have 6ft clearance to walk under. (Our boat is in the process of being painted so dont mind the green stripe.) we completely re did our boat from green to pink. The Bimini does take 2 people to install. It took use about 30-45mins from start to finish. ... show more

The instructions are horrible but the product is amazing. Common sense and some pictures helps you to put it together. It’s large, it’s solid, it’s beautiful. I decided to mount mine above the tower. No issues.
