It is easy to tell that Kastking spent a lot of time thinking about anglers' needs when designing this backpack. It is versatile. It fits 4 or 5 3600 size tackle boxes in the bottom chamber and another 5 or 6 can be fit in the top chamber. There seperator between the top and bop chamber is flap held in place by velcro. It can swing down into the bottom chamber and secured with velcro to the back of the pack to create a single giant chamber. This giant chamber can fit maybe 6, maybe 7, 3700 size tackle boxes vertically. It comes with 4 3700 size tackle trays. The conveniant water bottle holder can sinch down to holder your water bottle tight. I would made the water bottle pouch may be an inch or two deeper. It is great to have your plier outside the bag so you can find it when you need it. There are 6 differnt pouches of various sizes. One lined with soft fabric meant to exclusivally store your sunglasses. The zippers run smoothly without any rough spots. The back has 2 sets of pouches and straps to hold to 2 two-piece rods on the side of the pack. This packs makes it easy to hike into some remote honey hole. It even has room for snacks. It is well made. I got the navy blue with yellow. I love how the yellow pops. This would also be good overnight bag. I will be selling my other fishing backpack very soon. This one is far superior.

The build quality of this product is good. Upon delivery I looked this thing over top to bottom and inside out looking for things to nitpick. I really couldn't find much. The pockets are all in the right places for me, makes organizing my gear simple. The rod holders work well and allow for the rods to be strapped in tight. The bottle holder works best with a bottle that is necked down near the top. otherwise round bottles have a tendency to slip if the bag were to be turned over. This is only an issue for me in the event that i'm travelling via my atv to the trout hole. originally i had thought that this would be an early season trout item only, but after using it i quickly realized i'll be using it a whole lot more. my quick grab and go bag for any trip from the kayak to the bass boat. There are 4 trays inside, which leaves plenty of room for lunch. The trays are a common size and i had extra lying around so i stuffed it full and could carry more tackle than i could actually use in a day. The shoulder straps and the area that rests against your back are both padded and comfortable. The one thing that i can't find a practical use for is the strap that goes across your chest, from one shoulder strap to the other. i am a bigger chested guy and i don't like that strap. I can see where a female may not especially care for that strap either. i think it should be relocated as a waist strap or eliminated altogether. I really like this item though and am glad it is in my collection of gear. Would recommend. p.s. I gave 3 stars for water resistance only because i really didn't have the opportunity to test it in the rain, but it is obvious to me that the materials it is made from, and the stowable drybag it is equipped with will both do the job to keep it dry.

One of the best purchases I've made in a while. This bag holds so many items and feels great to carry. Feels very durable - only had it out at the lake once since getting it. The tackle boxes hold a lot and I can fit an extra box in the bottom pouch for 5 total. I ended up cutting out the plastic soft bait holder to fit my soft bait binder, and moved the poncho to the water bottle holder. Plan to attach my tripod chair to the velcro straps on the side. Can't wait to take this pack on all my fishing adventures for years to come!
