To start off I was looking for a fishing backpack and came across the KastKing Bait Boss Fishing backpack. I read the description and compared it to other backpacks and decided to buy it. First, i have to say the backpack was well packaged in a box everything was perfect upon delivery. Upon opening the box I saw 2 of the plastic bait containers with the kastking logo on them its a nice touch and the containers feel sturdy and solid. Next, I was astonished at just how many pockets, storage this backpack has to offer. My favorites are the 2 large side pockets which I can store my phone and keys in for quick access and the sunglasses pocket on the top which has depth to it so it can expand if needed. In addition, I noticed a secret zipper pouch on the backpack carrying strap. That's just how much that kastking thought about using every possible bit on this backpack for storage. The backpack material looks and feels of high quality, lightweight, and breathable. I like the kastking logo on the front and the american flag on the side it gives it a premium touch. Another thing I really like was the zippers and zipper pulls. The zippers are high quality and the zipper pulls make it easy to open and are orange to match the backpack another nice touch. In addition, the backpack features fishing pole holders and I look forward to trying those out to see if they can hold the fishing poles snug and tight without slipping. There is also a drink holder on the side which every backpack must have. Overall, the KastKing Bait Boss fishing backpack is so worth it and recommend it to everyone. I look forward to filling it up with fishing gear and hitting the water for some BIG BASS!

For the money, this is by far the best organizational setup I've used. I had the Bassdash backpack a couple years ago and ended up selling it due to lack of storage and it wouldn't stay upright. Here's a quick pro/con list if you're on the fence. Pros: Ample storage. Water bottle holder accommodates large bottles. Soft plastic separators are great. Very nice sunglasses storage. The included trays are good enough and hold a lot of lures. The side pouch with the Velcro strap is perfect for pliers. Cons/areas for improvement: The mesh on the back tore on my first trip out. The rod holders are pretty useless. The separator between the plastic tray and large compartment is only secured with cheap Velcro. A zipper would have been much nicer. The loops on the front are too thin. I have a pair of braid cutters that clip onto a belt and I leave those on the front of the bag. They pull right off unless you pull from the perfect angle. Lastly, there's no way to accommodate a net. I have a folding net and I'm going to have to modify the bag somehow to carry it. All those points aside, it's a great bag and I'm able to carry all my tackle on my back. I loved it so much I bought another as a gift. I find myself buying more and more Kastking because this company is making some awesome products that are very affordable.

WOW!! INSANE!!! INCREDIBLE!!! This is an absolute must-buy!! If right now you are debating whether it is worth it, you have to understand that this bag will forever change your fishing experience. I understand. I was there too. Before I saw the light of the Kastking tackle backpack, I, too, thought it would just end up being a nice toy and eventually end up in the closet next to old lures and broken reels. But boy was I wrong. The amount of storage and compartments makes accessing particular equipment faster than ever. Along with all of the nifty shtick that they added to the bag. There are spots for pliers, sunglasses, laptops, drinks, etc... and of course, you are able to carry two rods on the backpack!! So now that you are convinced go scroll back to the top of this page and go straight to checkout. (This review has no affiliation with the Kastking company, I am just a really enthusiastic fisherman who struck gold on this deal ;) (Also go for the blue and orange)

Bought this for my a 13 year olds birthday gift. He and my son ride their bikes to a local pond for bass fishing and this helped them organize their gear and made riding a lot easier and SAFE! No more holding rods and tackle boxes while trying to steer the bike. I've seen them use this often and it seems to be holding up to a couple of 13 year olds abusing it. Very happy with the purchase. My son was jealous and when Christmas came around his grandpa gave him a bag. The pockets are great, zippers are great with more than enough storage. Very happy with the bag.

This is a good bag with lots of storage and well thought out features and pocket placement. Combine this with a $10 Molle accessory kit and you should have no shortage of versatility. I could remove one of the included tackle boxes and add two more slim cases for a comfortable 7 tackle boxes. More if I removed the divider. My only complaints are minor ones and maybe specific to me. I'm paranoid about dropping things from precarious fishing spots into deep lakes or fast moving Rivers. So my perfect bag would have tied down points inside each pocket so that I don't have to leave pockets partially unzipped to allow for tie down cords. Aside from that I would like to have seen a waist strap for long hikes into difficult to reach fishing spots and a couple of loops high on the shoulders for clipping things you want to access quickly while on the move.
