Little on no QC. The silver powdercoated items were all scuffed up. One of the square, metal tubes making up the outrigger assembly was bent in an arc. It bare slid in and out smoothly. The blue powdercoat was flaking off. And, it didn't set on the floor firmly. I understand that floor surfaces are not level, but I spun this around a full 360 degrees and it still rocked slightly. I really like the stand. There was some confusion about if it would fit my 12" hitachi compound miter saw. the ad said it would, the instruction manual said ti might not be safe and might tip over. When I mounted it it worked fine. There was an issue with one of the band springs on one of the clamps. I emailed the seller and asked what to do about the little screw that had come loose and didn't hold the spring. I haven't received an answer yet. I fixed the problem by using a longer screw to hold the band spring. It works fine now. ... show more

    • Stand Works Perfectly, Great Value!
Assembly was pretty straight forward, barely needed to consult the directions. They should probably install the plastic feet at the factory, as positioning them correctly the first time was a bit annoying. Found it easier to install the slide brackets on the saw, and then put it on the stand. It's a solid fit, and the unit does not wobble while in use. I mounted a Hitachi compound miter saw on it, and the colors nearly match... pretty cool looking! When I was done cutting for the evening, I was able to slide the whole unit, saw and all, through the sliding door from the deck to the kitchen area... piece of cake. ... show more

Dont know how I used the saw before without this. Been using for a few months at home on outdoor pavillion and it has made the cutting so much much easier. Cut 4x6 lumber with the 12" saw and it was very sturdy.

    • Very short miter saw stand, not the best option for taller people.
Stand seems to be built well. It is very small though. I stand 6'3" and this stand is just above knee high for me, making it far too short for doing cuts while in the standing position. It says it fits saws up to 12 inches but my 12 rigid saw dwarfed this stand and felt like it was going to tip over as the slider was pushed towards the rear. It is however perfect size for my 7-1/4 inch miter saw. Just wish it had taller legs to bring it up to proper working height. Guess I can just use it while seated on a chair. ... show more
