I had a solo karaoke party with this this evening and it was very fun. The mics don’t have great gain, and it was a bit difficult to get the balance right between microphone and the rest of the music (they do have separate volume dials thank goodness) but ultimately it did what I expected for equipment in this price range. It is fun that it charges up and doesn’t need to be plugged in so you’re not constrained by cords. The only feedback I have is that the user manual isn’t really a manual so I was guessing at what to do. It was easy enough if you’re used to Bluetooth pairing. After pairing, music will play from the speaker like any other wireless speaker. You just turn the mics on, but you also need to turn up their volumes before your voice will come out of the speaker. Overall, I’m happy with the quality and features. Now to get a disco ball and invite friends!

I like the design of this speaker. It doesn't quite have all the functionality of an 80's Boom Box, but it's scaled down in size to fit the times, I'd say. It even comes with a lanyard so you can wear it around your neck should that desire hit you! There is no equalization capability on this machine, but the speaker quality is pretty good. I have a full-size karaoke machine that I spent well over twice as much for that I bought years ago and the speaker quality is comparable. Looks like the costs are coming down while the technology is improving. At first I was frightened by the amount of reverberation and interference with the proximity of the microphone. But this machine has a dedicated Microphone Reverberation Adjustment! Problem Solved. I think a future version of this would allow for independent volume control of each microphone and greater remote control functionality. I also hope they keep working on the Voice Cut feature. They'll figure it out.
