  • Not looking good
The media could not be loaded. Not a bad purchase. This is my 2nd automatic portable washer since July. My first was a Magic Chef which broke after a month. So far this machine works ok...it’s not quiet at all. The wash, drain and spin is loud and you can feel the vibration in your feet and you can feel the motor When I was using my Magic Chef it was the same set up but that machine was much quieter. I really hope this Kopas last until at least next yr... SN: the beginning of every spin is noisy but it eventually quiets down *Update* ok so it’s 10/02 and I got this 07/15...though the washer will still wash it doesn’t get the clothes as clean and when it spins it starts thumping all around. I’ve never used this as my regular washer but just in between loads. I also live alone so I’m only washing for myself and not a family so this thing doesn’t get used that often. I don’t see this machine making it to the 3 month mark...I’ve tried to fix the thumping issue when it spins but even when I run a test cycle with no clothing it still thumps so basically just a waste of money again UPDATE 11/03/2020- The machine now leaks water smh...it went from thumping when spinning to now leaking water...HORRIBLE WASTE OF MONEY! ... show more

  • It serves my purposes nicely!
The media could not be loaded. I like this machine. It got 4 stars because the directions were barely legible and the drainage hose of flimsy and a bit short. Also, mine seems to not have that special UV light cleaning setting- so not as advertised, but I really just needed a basic washing machine. I did my research and am very pleased with my purchase. There's a lot of people complaining that it doesn't have a drain pump and that it's a spin dryer instead of a heat dryer. I was aware of this before I bought it. Reading is fundamental! The mini washing machines on the market are about 100$+ more expensive with a drainage pump. I just got a sturdy little plastic table for 20$, I put the table with the washing machine on it, over my toilet and I get water in from the sink and it drains right out into the tub. Apartment life! I had to buy a 7$ connector for the hose to fit into my faucet. I'm gonna get a longer drainage hose though. It's cute, not too heavy, and works well. It was definitely worth the money for me. I never use the spin function, so I don't have feedback on that. I have a big 3200 rpm spinner, so I just use that. I've also seen people saying that their machine was loud during washing, mine is nice and quiet. I close the bathroom door when I'm using it and all I hear is the low little beeps it makes when the load is done. Which is really good because I'm not supposed to have a washing machine in my apartment! ... show more

  • Perfect for our needs
I bought this little washing machine as a temporary fix while we have a laundry room added on to our house. Originally, we planned to just bite the bullet and go to the laundry mat, but the pandemic changed that plan. Enter the Kapas washing machine. We have it set up on our breezeway where its water supply comes from the outside hose spigot (and hose). The drainage hose runs down our driveway to the gutter. The machine drains with no problem, despite there being very little difference in height between the machine and the position of the drain hose. I wish that we could remove the U-shaped device from the drain hose, since we don't need it for the edge of the tub, but its not a big deal. We have been washing only with cold water, but I am going to try adding hot, by hand, soon. The only thing I would change is the somewhat flimsy nature of the intake and drain hoses that come with the machine. They cannot really be switched out for anything else because of their diameter is an odd measurement. I have the drain hose clamped to a regular hose and that is working, but some interchangeability would be nice. ... show more

  • Little big .......wash
Received today, as soon as get it started whashing all my dirt clothing, (takes omly 8 pounds, so dont let laundry accumulate). This little machine works as a charm, only thing, adaptation for a 3/4" gaRden tap is nonsensical because of the general design approach; given the size, and the ammount of load it can handle, is not surprising that whoever designed this was not thinking of a garden hose , (usually located in gardens, wonder why?😂) but in a hand sink or kitchen sink, so logic would have been to provide adaptation for them and not for one in a garden you most probably wont have. In a small apt,is shangri la becomed washer, can keep it in a closet, out of the way (and sight) works very silently, even when drying, certainly wont get a prize in a fashion contest, is just an square box, period, but works very very good. Thick plastic, wont break easily, controls are simple, though to the date havent need more than one, press, and "hasta la vista amigo", reccomend ? Sure, price is very, very I mean very.....good. This to the date, need an adaptation for kitche and Ill be back after a couple of weeks. (Cycle: about air drying of delicates: seems to me a waste of money for the maker, could improve with an additional coupling and forget about the fan, that cycle is useless.) ... show more

  • It's the right size for a apartment, dorm or RV.
It works great, It drains fine. Just use common sense when installing. I originally had this in the bathtub to drain, then I moved it into the laundry sink. It sat on a couple of bricks to raise it up for draining, but it's actually not necessary. It's extremely quiet during wash and even the spin cycle. This was a alternative to a full-size washing machine with the agitator in the center from an old apartment building- that was destroying my clothes. This machine is very gentle, but works really well to get rid of lint & pet hair! The hose for water intake is a regular washer hose, this is what I hooked it up to when installed in the laundry sink. If you don't have a water hook-up, use a bucket to fill- I did this when I had it draining in the bathtub. I do love this little washing machine, and if I lived in an apartment again, I would keep it. It takes up them same amount of space as a kitchen chair, so it's easy to store away in a closet when not in use. See picture. ... show more
