Description

Find your ideal viewing angle. The PT300 is a dual-stud, tilting wall mount designed to support TVs up to 90 inches. Its pre-tensioned mounting brackets provide 12° of forward tilt, helping to reduce glare and improve line-of-sight with your TV. Each bracket is equipped with a horizontal leveling screw to facilitate precision leveling, a Torx screw and locking feature to protect against theft, and a quick-release cord for easy removal of your TV. Sitting 1.4 inches from the wall, the PT300’s wall plate is wide enough to accommodate both 16 and 24-inch stud spacing, and comes with all the hardware you need for wood stud and concrete installation.     • The Perfect Fireplace Mount

I did an embarrassing amount of research before buying this, but I wanted the thinnest mount possible that would still let me tilt and had post-installation level adjustment. I was mounting a TV above the fireplace for the first time and knew that the odds of me drilling four perfect holes holding a hammer-drill over my head were slim. I could not be happier with this mount. Price was reasonable, quality is great, and no other mount came close to being as thin and feature-packed as the Kanto. I'm no carpenter, but I am confident in my ability to hang something level. However, I can't say enough good things about being able to perfectly level your TV after it's on the wall. I actually think I hung this particular mount perfectly level, but whoever laid the bricks for my fireplace was slightly off.... Anyways, now the TV is perfectly aligned with the bricks, it only sits 1.5" off the wall, and it's got the perfect tilt for viewing from the couch. If you are hanging a TV above your fireplace, or anywhere else that doesn't need an articulating arm, this is the mount you should get. ... show more

I recently installed a Kanto swing-arm mount with a 40" TV for a friend and was BEYOND impressed at the quality. So I decided to hang MY 55" TV on the wall. Of course, I looked at Kanto first, selected the one I liked best, then came to Amazon to order it. For anyone who's ever done one of those "some assembly required" projects, you'll be amazed at Kanto. They included (for both mounts) EVERY possible machine screw you might need to mount the arms to the TV. All you have to do is pick the right size. Installation instructions are crystal clear. Although I had no problem mounting the bracket level on the wall, if you DON'T have it level, there are adjustments that can be made to level the TV despite the bracket's placement. I found both Kanto mounts to be of excellent quality, easy to install and they look great, too. I wholeheartedly recommend Kanto! ... show more

Sturdy. Easy to mount on the wall. But getting the tv up was a test. And if you ever want to add a new device (meaning new cables) you are in for a work out. So plan to di whatever is needed before you hoist the TV up.

    • Install all cables before hanging!

If you don't plug in all cables before hanging it's almost impossible to plug them once mounted to wall. Anytime you need to make a new connection you basically have to take the TV down.... Good quality, heavy duty and is slim so have 2 stars for that. If not for issue with cables it would get 5 stars ... show more

Not sure why you’d be reading this, it’s obvious what it is. The bottom of my tv(42”) is 3” away from the wall and the top is 7” away from the wall.
