  • Great tires so far
I have approximately 6k miles in on these tire so far. I drive in every kind of environment and some extreme ones. Performed great in mud better than some other all terrains haven't had then in any snow or ice yet. Two tires balanced a little heavy but hasn't been a big deal. So far are wearing good no chips from all the dirt I drive on and hasn't picked up alot of flats. Not noisy on highway either. Would buy again. ... show more

  • These have been horrible so far
Unless the tire shop is telling me they are balancing and their machine is off these have been horrible since day one. They also feel real loose. I have messed with air pressures, balanced twice and done an alignment. These will be coming off soon.

  • Got 58k miles out of them
I had these put on my truck when I bought it with 108k miles, I’m now at 166k and just ordered a new pair! I absolutely love them never have had traction issues or anything.

  • Week side walls
These tires seem very weak on the sidewalks.

  • Solid Value Tire
Kanati seems to make pretty strong tires. I originally bought these tires for work use - I was a contractor for a satellite internet company in rural northern California and I needed a tire that wasn't $300 a piece that can handle a little abuse. I used these tires for about 5,000 miles with mixed on-road/off-road use. Lots of gravel, bumpy, snow, and dirt road use in those 5,000 miles for sure. I actually just used them in central Oregon in a pretty good snow situation and with my 4WD Ford F-150 (running the 275/65R18s) they worked great. That's the same tire here with a different aspect ratio rating (70 instead of the 65), but everything else is 100% the same. I now have closer to 10,000 miles on them and have had 0 issues with them. They're not really loud on the freeway so they can be a good daily driver tire. The ride is fairly smooth too. I'd say the noise rating is maybe a 7/10 - you can get quieter tires that are AT but I doubt you can find something that is dramatically quiter than these. But they work great in snow, light mud, dirt, highway - which I think covers 99% of what the average driver might come in contact with. If you want to do more specific mud driving then maybe you should be looking at the Mud Hog. The price has jumped a touch on these (I ended up paying about twenty less per tire when I bought them in early 2020) so you're getting closer to the Nitto Grappler, Falken Wildpeak, etc. but you're still getting a really good value here. I think these will make it to 50,000 miles if I don't swap out my wheels for 20" wheels and need to replace my tires. But these have been solid so far which is great since they're a brand that is fairly unknown to most people. ... show more
