I ordered two of the 36 bottle racks, which arrived yesterday. I was impressed with how well the pieces fit together and how sturdy they seem (although I'm admittedly using them in 3-row sections, so they might be less sturdy in a tall stack). Larger bottles won't fit on the middle shelves, but will fit on the top shelf with an extra space. This isn't an issue for me because I don't have many larger bottles, and frankly all racks of this style seem to have that issue. One of the end pieces arrived with a small crack; I've reached out to the seller to see how they handle this, and will update the review with their response. Overall I'm very happy with the rack; at $0.87/bottle, the current price is unbeatable. If the manufacturer responds quickly to the piece that came cracked, I'll likely be purchasing a third rack. ... show more

This is easy to put together, very sturdy (the more bottles you put it the sturdier it gets. My only disappointment is that not all bottles fit in the allotted space: champagne bottles and Chateauneuf-du-Pape will not sit side by side. On the top shelf you can put two bottles across three slots and then a third resting on those, but that only works on top shelf. The shelves are too close vertically to do that on lower shelves. This wine rack is very nice and super sturdy. Once you place bottles on it, it's even better. It is very well made and super easy to put together. No tools needed. The pieces are notched and fit into each other quite nicely. Each piece is very substantial! Nothing flimsy about it. It Holds different size bottles of red and white wines. They don't slide out. It has a built in catch in the notch in the wood to prevent bottles from sliding out. Because I placed it inside a cabinet, I was also able to lay the bottles of proseco (champagne like bottles) under it which was a big plus. It can also be added to which is a great feature. I spent hours on Amazon researching and I am so glad I decided on this one. I would buy it all over again. As a P.S. I very rarely write reviews. 72 bottles is the biggest rack they offer. I thought it was a bit "wobbly" at full height on top of carpet and carpet pad. Might be fine on a hard surface but I doubt it. I assembled it at half height and have a pair side by side. Love it.

Needed a storage system for a lot of collected wine which was being stored in a space which wasn't designed for such. Saw this system and decided to give it a try. Very quick to assemble. No sharp edges and we'll finished. The end result is a great looking system that is very sturdy and surprised me greatly. Just sorry it's not out in the open to be viewed by others. It's finished well enough to be seen daily. Highly recommend. One caution, if storing Chardonnay bottles which balloon out at bottom, you will have to flip back and forth and place on the top or have to skip precut storage cups. I knew this was not real wood for the price. This is pressed together wood with a lacquer coating. It went together super easy and is flimsy without a load on it. Once you put wine on the rack it becomes very sturdy. the lacquer coating makes this where you cannot stain it. Its a decent looking rack overall and for the price I am buying more. One user stated to run a strip down the back where the main vertical supports are and I will likely do that just as a preventative measure. I would NOT store this on carpeted areas or where the ground is not level or where the floor would move at all. ... show more
