We purchased the 369-piece kit for our daughter for her 9th birthday. She was overjoyed and has been having so much fun exploring how to use everything! There are tons of piping tips for her to experiment with in particular. I had a bunch of other stuff in my Amazon cart and just needed the turntable and found this. I was able to get rid of everything else in my cart except the 6" pans and a cake knife (don't like the wire things) because so much is included in this! nice kit with many useful pieces. i purchased this kit for the icing tips, bags, turn-table and icing spatula, which i am pleased with all of them. some of the additional pieces aren't of the highest caliber, but i did not expect, nor need them as i have my own utensils. regardless, they are definitely usable and would be great if you didn't own them already. my only warning is be sure which kit you are ordering as the pieces vary and you will receive what is labeled in the pieces and maybe not what is pictured.

Even tho this seems to be a very complete combo, most items are and feel cheap. The mixer is very good considering it runs very fast no matter if you put it on the slowest speed. Bowls are nice. Turn table is flimsy and is going to give you headaches and frustration when trying to decorate the cake. For starters it might do the job but if you’re looking for good instruments, look somewhere else and be ready to pay more.

I was looking for something to just experiment in my old hobby but I didn't have the supplies, I was surprised it came with a hand mixer but I kept my expectations low when it arrived. Probably the only good thing about it is that it works but the handling is twitchy and if I apply too much pressure on the whisks it'll just die on me, it overheats pretty quickly. Feels like it only knows 2 speeds, fast and FAST and it is LOUD. So you get what you pay for. I will say it's decent for a beginner to get a taste of what baking is like so if that's all you're looking for then you can't go wrong with this!
