Was expecrting a cheaper turn table that would need to be replaced, let me just say that I looked for the more expensive ones,(because all the bakers give you the brands they swear by) let me just say the entire set for this price is way more valuable than the $30 to $100 (or more) that I have seen... the turn table spins freely, and you dont have to spin it hard and it keeps going for a while (that is a good thing it means you have less of a chance of the weight of your cake stalling while you Ice it and you are able to avoid deep lines and stop marks) the piping bags are sturdy, the tips are not weak and they dont bend easy. the scrapers, and spatulas are all well put together, just get this and dont go off buying some expensive set because I have watch professionals on youtube with this set and they have more complaints about the more expensive sets. best money spent! ... show more

I bought this kit ages ago thinking “oh I’m totally gonna get into making cakes” and have literally not touched it for over a year. Finally I decided I was gonna make my daughter’s 8th birthday cake. I have NEVER done anything like this before but this kit - whew was it a lifesaver! The lazy Susan spun sooo perfectly, the silicone bags didn’t break or rip and were so easy to clean. Everything was so easy to work with and I felt so professional. And I mean, come on, look at my cake!! I know my piping skills are not good but for someone who has literally never done it before I’m impressed with myself. It also helped that I watched like 1000 TikToks on cake decorating tips but having a semi-professional kit to use was like literally the icing on the cake lol. I would recommend this to someone like me who needs something that’s all inclusive to start practicing. ... show more

Honestly, I selected this because of the turntable, the other items were just a bonus. The turntable works beautifully for me and I very much like the pastry bags as well. I will use the flower nail, but not likely the frosting tips, as I already have a set I prefer over the ones in this kit. I do however like the spatulas, they work well even though some have reported they are "cheap". I hand wash mine for fear of damage while in the dishwasher and so far, no problems. I would recommend this set for beginners and beyond. I only wish the tips were better quality (maybe include fewer, but higher quality tips instead? Also would be nice if they were numbered). I am no expert, but not a novice to cake decorating either, and as I improve my skills, I find myself acquiring more tools and knowledge and joy for the art of decorating and cake making. I look forward to continued use of these items and think you may also! ... show more

Met my expectations. Found the cake spinner sturdy and worked perfectly. Used a few of the frosting tips. Would help to have some tips or instructions. Hint for using the blade to create clean sides - dip the blade or spatula in warm water, quickly dry, and use immediately. Repeat often, works great. ... show more

Definitely worth the money and the materials are high quality. The turntable for the cake decorating is worth it alone. My daughter loves it and it has everything she needs. Worth the money!
