If buying for a child, be aware of the sharpening knife. I read the reviews before purchasing so I knew to remove the knife. This is a great art set and the grandson loved it. Recommended!

The colors are vibrant and the watercolor pencils are wonderful. I am just getting back into sketching and painting. I highly recommend these if you're looking for an amazing product at a great price look no further.

Amazing set of colored pencils. So many colors with great variety. Several repeats, but in different styles. This was perfect for me want-to-be 7 year-old want to be daughter, however it does come with a sharp X-Acto knife which I quickly removed. Later realize there are pencils (charcoal?) that can’t use the cheap sharpener that came with it and needed the X-Acto knife. Of course, she wanted to do it herself. It is very hard to sharpen the pencils with the knife. ... show more
