i loved this machine untill it stopped working , i think the plastic thing that you put in it when its not charging can get water in there and that why i think the 2 i have stopped working . i m very impreeses how the manufactor is replacing and or giving me back my money . because of this ill will buy 2 more and hope this doesnt happen again .     • Major issues. Garbage.
FINAL UPDATE AUG1st 2023: A couple days late of being able to return this broken item to Amazon for a refund! Once again the clear rubber plug fell out of the bottom of this device while it was submerged in the pool. This product is NOT waterproof! Water leaks into the charging port even when the plug doesn’t fall out during operation, so within just the first couple uses, the prongs inside the charging port area begins to show sign of rust! And once again the product eventually just stopped working all together! I’ve literally been ripped off and I’m certain I’m not the only buyer this has happened to. I will never purchase this brand of product again! UPDATE: June 25th 2023. Upon attempting to use this for the 5th time it completely stopped working. It was fully clean and freshly charged. Placed in the water and pushed button to turn it on and it ran for 2 seconds but then turned itself off. It did this repeatedly. I trouble shooted and double checked to make sure everything was ok and even charged it again in case it didn’t actually charge for whatever reason: tried again next day and same issue. Won’t work! After Amazon chat they are sending me a new one arriving today already! I must of course return the broken one. I just hope this one doesn’t do the same thing after just a few uses cuz this is ridiculous. Normally I would’ve asked for a refund and bought something different but our pool is up and running right now so it’s needed right away. One more con that I didn’t mention below is that the little rubber plug that must be inserted in the charging port before u place this in the pool, leaks and water still gets in to the charging prong area that is supposed to stay dry. The plug also falls out from time to time while it’s operating in the pool which basically makes it pointless. I’m addition, the little rubber plug is NOT attached to the machine and it is clear in color making it extremely difficult to find when it falls out. I suggest painting the rubber plug with a marker or nail polish so you can see it! I’d also put a piece of tape over the plug before placing in the pool. Cuz it will fall out. This has a nice battery life for the price point compared to others I’ve seen advertised. It goes for an hour and a half and that’s impressive for a rechargeable device such as this. My gripe is this is a real pain to clean out. There is a mesh thing on it similar to the lint trap in your dryer which is great if everything would catch and stay in that alone but it doesn’t. That part doesn’t seem to catch much of anything . Under that initial top piece there is a big sloppy sponge that everything gets stuck into and it is very difficult to clean! You have to use the hose and your fingers and it’s disgusting. In addition , yes of course it’s very heavy when lifting it out of the water. That’s expected BUT you cannot drain the water out of it over the pool or all the garbage inside spills right back out into the pool with it. So you have to set it on the ground and drain out all that precious chlorinated water. Another big con is it’s very difficult to get the sides of machine unclipped to take it apart to clean. If you’re a woman with any length on fingernails it’s even tuffer to open. You need to keep a handy tool or butter knife outside to pop them clips up or you’ll hurt urself. Next time I use this I will be taking the sponge out to see what happens. I will say this device has great suction. It gets sludge stuck to that sponge that you can’t even see is in your pool. As with other robotic vacuums it does get stuck over the tiniest lip at the bottom of your pool liner. But the long string with floating handle makes it easy to give it a tug when need be so it can go on it’s merry way doing it’s job. Despite the cons, I really enjoy the fact that I can spend more of my time actually enjoying my pool instead of vacuuming it by hand! I can’t speak to this devices longevity yet as I’ve only had it a couple weeks and only used it 4 times so far due to this strange weather pattern we’ve had.     • Not worth the money
I’m so upset with this sweeper. I got this before my pool arrived so yes by the time I got my pool and we got it set up, it was past the 30 days to return. When I put it in the pool, it worked pretty good for about a minute or two and then just sat there. I still have to hand sweep it because this sweeper won’t stay running. So I tried to return it and the seller wouldn’t because it was passed 30 days but awesome Amazon refunded me the money but I had to purchase another sweeper. That was fine with me because I figured maybe this one was just broken so I did want to just replace it with a new one. Got the new one and what do you know, same thing. When it first starts off, it’s pretty cool and works but then again, it stops after a couple minutes and just sits there. I have to throw it back on charger just to get another couple minutes out of it so I’m thinking the battery just dies super fast 🥵 Now it just bounces back and fourth on the wall 🤦 It’s not work almost $200. I’d rather just use my hand sweeper which is what I have been doing and sadly that works a lot better. ... show more

    • Stopped Working After a Few Months
I have had the pool cleaner for a few months now. It started off great. Picked up a ton of debris and dirt. Was easy to clean. When i took it out of the water, i left it out to dry for at least 4 hours, then I would take a q-tip to try and dry out any of the remaining moisture around the charging prongs. Even with all that, it started showing signs of rust. I've had the rubber plug cover come off twice while the cleaner was in the pool. That was very frustrating as it took me over a week to find. Now it has stopped working. I can hear the mechanisms working but it no longer rolls across the pool floor, it literally just sinks to the bottom and sits there, I have worked through all the trouble shooting guides, but nothing seems to work. I bought the extended warranty and I tried to get a replacement sent out but the warranty company says that it is still under its manufacturers warranty and I need to try and work with them on that, However, I am finding it next to impossible to reach the sellers store and get the process started. I tried working with Amazon and they said they could do nothing. Edit: the company said they’d look at the pool cleaner. We packaged it up and mailed it to them. They received the package on October 23 and we haven’t heard from them. I tried contacting them earlier today with the email thread we had going and it says the link expired. 2 stars stand. ... show more

    • Ok when it worked!
This robot vac worked pretty well...WHEN IT TURNS ON! Approximately 5-6 weeks in it was tough to get it charged and half the time i pushed the ON button, it would do nothing...wouldn't turn on at all. Sometimes it turned on but when it hit the floor of the pool it would just sit there. Now it never turns on, even though it has a full charge. Buyer beware, works well when it turns on, but this one died on me prty quick. ... show more
