  • Sturdy / Heavy
Good sturdy and heavy angle clamp for welding mitered steel tubes. Only negative is the end caps fall off pretty easy and require set screw tightening. I also found that screwing in and out takes some time due to the tightness of threads. Oiling and greasing helped a little.

  • The second one I got was much better quality.
The clamp looks like it will work, but the quality of the workmanship is poor. There are hollow places in the casting all over the unit. I expected more from an item built in the US. 10/9/17 Update: I returned the first one because of the quality. I got a second one and it was much improved. No problem places in the casting, the machine faces were all great. I will keep this one. ... show more

  • ANOTHER GREAT TOOL
This is my second one ordered. That should speak for itself. A high quality angle clamp that I use a lot, precision made, accurate and easy to use. This is the smaller of the two Kaka sells. I own the other one also for larger jobs/projects. Very fast shipping and be sure and check out all of the metal working products from this seller (Kaka Industrial). Since discovering them, I have ordered several tools and very pleased with their quality. ... show more

  • Great clamp..
A very sturdy vise. Some said the balls on the handle would not stay tight. Well one small drop of red thread lock, firmly tighten problem solved.

  • I'd try a different clamp
I needed a good 90 clamp for a build. I read all the reviews and decided on these even though they were pricey. I figured it would be worth the money for the time saved and accuracy. I was wrong. Issue right out of the box, the threaded rod which terminates in the pivot piece was hard to turn. either the threaded rod shaft was not round or the hole in there bearing wasn't. It wasn't the fact that it needed to "wear in". One to them wasn't round. It os difficult to use the clamp with this issue. Second issue, most clamps of this type can be used on their side in addition to it flat on the table. After welding up some pieces, I realized the sides of the clam are not 90 degrees from the bottom. The sides are angled so when it's on the side, the clamps are tilted. I had to MacGyver a set up to use them on the sides with additional clamps. I would have returned with them immediatelyI had to get a job done plus I would not have been able to get another set to use before the holidays. Bottom line is I wouldn't buy these again especially for how much they are. If I'm able to return these, I'm going to try the Bessey model. ... show more
