Great product / even better customer service
Bought this for my 13 yr old son for his band class. I wasn't expecting much but when it arrived, I was amazed at the look, feel, and items included. Now I haven't played a trumpet in 30+ years but I put it up to my mouth and made that thing make noise easily and it sounded good. The case keeps it protected while transporting through the school and at home. Now for the customer service. A couple of weeks after the purchase, their is this small plastic "valve guide" that broke causing the valve to seize up and make the instrument unplayable. I took a couple pictures of what was broke, emailed the seller and within 48 hours, they have shipped me a whole NEW valve. Oiled and installed new valve and it was back to making that noise again. As a starter trumpet, this thing is awesome. If you or your kid plans on pursuing the trumpet long term, then you can look at the higher valued units later when you know exactly what you are looking for.

Amazing quality!
I purchased this horn after a 30 year hiatus from playing jazz/rock trumpet. In the past I was a purist and only wanted name brands (Bach Strads, Yamaha and Selmer Pro horns). In all honesty, I was a little "afraid" of a horn this inexpensive which in my estimation would have been a beginner/student horn. After a week of getting adjusted, I was amazed at intonation, slotting, and the quality of workmanship. I know the trumpet community might disagree with my assessment but I have been extremely pleased.

Good starter trumpet
This is a decent starter trumpet for the price. The tone and timbre is pretty good (it does not match that of the more expensive Bach Stradivarius), but it is excellent for Jr high or High school band. We've had no problem with the valves as others have reported, but they are frequently oiled. The slides were very smooth straight out of the box, but are frequently lubricated also. The color was a little more more yellow/brass than I expected from the picture. It is almost silver, but has a yellowish hue to it.

DO NOT BUY A COLORED TRUMPET (unless you are looking for a plastic trumpet)
I just received the red trumpet that I purchased for my son. I was expecting something similar to what was pictured and advertised (solid brass bell) yet I received what looks to be a toy and nothing like what is pictured. I read the other review stating they received a toy and wish I would have listened. Not to mention, it did not come with white gloves, valve oil, or an extra mouth piece. False advertisement to say the least.

Great for beginners. Good quality for the price.
I'm a part time trumpet teacher. Here are my observations of Kaiser 1000 series trumpet. I’m impressed by the quality of the horn for the price. Craftsmanship is better than expected. Tubing is straight, valves line up, move freely & are the same height, slides move smoothly, finish looks good, horn is rigid and welds all appear solid. Produces nice sound, projects well, & remains in tune within register a student would play. Resistance is not too high/low & included 7C mouthpiece is good for beginner. Case is lightweight, can be carried horizontally/vertically, has shoulder strap or as backpack. Should do a descent job protecting the horn, but zippers may not last. Valve oil was missing but if you email Kaizer they will send it to you. Customer service seems great. 45 day trial period & the lifetime warranty. Keep your proof of purchase as Kaizer will send replacement parts if something breaks. Be aware your local music store likely won't support the instrument. I was not paid to review this trumpet. I review trumpets on YouTube with the goal of connecting beginning/intermediate students with quality horns for a great price. UPDATE: After two years we experienced our first issue (have 6 Kaizer trumpets). A nylon guide valve guide failed. Kaizer shipped a pack of replacement valve guides at no charge. The finish has begun wearing off around the valve casings and lead pipe where the horn is held. More noticeable on nickel colored horns. I’d still recommend. Don’t expect the quality/longevity of a $3000 Stradivarius, but for the price they are a good beginner horn & are cheaper than renting.

I have to say my daughter doesn't play it much but that's why I was looking for a less expensive model such as this. So far it's been good- not outrageously expensive but still "real" and not a toy. Good for beginners or young learners. Different colors are a bonus!

Mostly accurate, great beginner trumpet
Trumpet arrived in a timely fashion. came with trumpet, case, 7C mouth piece, case, case strap, cleaning cloth and gloves. I was later advised that the 7C is for a child's mouth (my own fault for not knowing at the time of purchase) * did not include set of trumpet valve guide replacements or valve oil as advertised. I'll have to head to my local music-go-round to get the valve oil along with some slide grease. Still a great purchase that I will enjoy learning to use.
