I think this is a good laptop for its price, but I can't recommend it without some kind of dedicated graphics. While this laptop can definitely browse the web and play movies, it will have big problems with any application that tries to display complicated graphics, like CAD programs. If you are in computer science or engineering for your college major, you need to look at a different buy, but otherwise this is okay. For me, I feel like 15.6" is a bit large, but that size allows for a number keypad, which is on this laptop. Just be careful, since the power button is in the corner of the keypad (above the ./Del key) and pressing that will turn off your PC unless you change it. Our of the box, this PC came with its charger and on a full charge it claimed to be able to last 10 hours. However, despite "10H" being shown in the battery estimate, this dropped to 90% after around 20 minutes, possibly because I was installing some software. I think that the actual battery life when using this laptop for medium-intensity tasks will turn out to be around 5 hours, half of what the absolute maximum is. The trackpad is pretty large, which is good, but I feel like the keyboard could have better ergonomics for typing. Additionally, I wish that the lid didn't pull up the bottom of the laptop when opening it. My other windows laptop doesn't do that, so it's a bit annoying that it happens with this one. This is still a good buy if you just need a computer to use, and it comes with a Windows software license on it, and it directly lets you set up a local account without needing to sign into Microsoft, but if you'll need anything that might involve graphics or AI, you'll want a laptop with a dedicated internal GPU and/or NPU.

Great budget laptop and it has USB C charging which is great because you don't have to have a certain charger for it. This laptop feels nice and has an AWESOME picture thanks to it's IPS display. This is a good computer for work or just browsing the internet, gaming on it though is lack luster no dedicated GPU in this laptop. The graphics are handled by the CPU so it's alright but for gaming you want a dedicated GPU. I love the fact that both the top plate and bottom plate on this laptop are an alloy metal and gives it some weight, I actually like the additional weight on a laptop it gives it a bit more presence in my mind. I did open it up to see about upgrades that you can do, I know that was a question when I bought it for me. It has a single DDR stick of RAM in it and that's it, I mean you could upgrade that to a single stick of 32GB RAM but still going to be in single channel mode. It has the typical slot for the NVME drive and no expansion slot so you can't put another NVME drive in there for storage. Both the NVME and RAM sticks were off brand, but perform well. Oh the best part of this system is it's a bloat free version of Windows 11 installed, no third party apps and stuff like that to slow your system down, just your basic Windows 11 installed. I ran a program to make sure there was no malicious software installed and didn't find anything. Overall for the price it's a great budget laptop that feels good while using it. It's responsive enough to get work done and to get on the internet and watch YouTube and stuff like that.

Let’s put things in perspective about this laptop before judging it. This is a low powered, budget priced laptop, not a powerhouse gaming or workstation level machine. The targeted roles for this device include web browsing, light tasks/gaming and watching videos. So does this device meet those expectations? I put the laptop through its paces as my daily device. It should be noted that there is a cooling fan that keeps the CPU cool. While not loud, it is noticeable, especially if your work area is quiet. Performance wise, the laptop boots into Windows very quickly. After connecting to my wireless router, I found that web browsing is snappy as long as I don’t have too many concurrent connections. Downloading files went fairly quickly, I didn't observe any noticeable delays. Video performance appeared to struggle a bit on Youtube as it kept auto-selecting lower resolutions. I'm not sure what is causing this issue as my other devices play high resolution files without problems. Manually selecting 1080P (normal resolution for this laptop) streaming video was a little choppy but still watchable. Battery life: There are instructions on how to condition the battery for best performance. After conditioning the battery, I can get about 3 hours if I am only web surfing. Adding any load such as watching a movie rapidly reduces the battery. From a full charge, a 90 minute movie reduces battery life to about 20%. Expandability: There aren't any extra sodimm or m.2 slots. The only way to expand is to replace the existing memory and SSD drive with larger ones. 512GB isn't much storage space and the inability to add more storage without having to replace the SSD drive and reinstall the operating system is a pretty big negative in my opinion. Final comments. For casual users, this laptop should be sufficient for most of their needs. Lack of expandability however may impact your long-term usability and enjoyment.

I ordered this KAIGERR laptop because the specs looked great for the price, especially the 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and the advertised Intel N97 processor. But when I received it, I found out it actually came with a Ryzen 7 5825U! That's a significantly more powerful processor, so I was pleasantly surprised. The laptop feels well-built, yet thin and light; and the 15.6-inch FHD screen is crisp and clear. Performance-wise, it's been fantastic for everyday tasks like browsing, word processing, streaming, and even some light photo editing. It handles multitasking without any slowdown, which is great. I haven't had any issues with the touchpad or anything else, so far. Now, it's a lesser-known brand, so I was initially a bit cautious. Some of the other reviews mentioned concerns about bloatware or spyware, but I haven't found anything suspicious on my machine. I ran some scans, and everything came back clean. I also checked the network activity, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Still, it's something to keep in mind if you're particularly security-conscious. It might be worth doing a clean install of Windows if you have any doubts. However, for me, everything has been running smoothly. The battery life has also been pretty decent, lasting me most of the day on a single charge. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this laptop, especially with the surprise Ryzen 7 upgrade. It's a fantastic value for the money, offering excellent performance and a great set of features. If you're looking for a powerful and affordable laptop, this one is definitely worth considering. The unexpected processor upgrade I received makes it an even better deal than advertised!

I'm impressed with the quality and performance of this laptop. Although Windows 11 supports RAM memory sizes below 16GB, in my experience 16GB is the minimum for responsiveness and performance. And I think the 16GB memory in this device contributes to the snappy performance, as does the 512GB SSD drive. It's not a huge drive, but is more than sufficient in most cases, especially when used with cloud storage services like OneDrive. Multiple USB ports and types means it supports various external device types. The case is thin and sleek and, while the screen is not touch-enabled, the large trackpad is a sufficient stand-in. The ability to connect an external monitor is a definite plus for me. Windows 11 Home is the included OS and setup was a cinch. Though I was surprised that my only option was to add a local user account (as opposed to a cloud-based Microsoft account), though I was able to connect my Microsoft account after setup. Another surprise just after setup was a blue screen of death. This is very rare for an out-of-box experience. But after it rebooted, I installed all the available Windows updates - including some device driver updates - and haven't had any crashes since. So maybe a device driver issue? This laptop is a hearty and attractive device, suitable for students, work, and general browsing, email, etc. The price is mid-to-high range for comparable devices, but the KAIGERR brand is somewhat established, albeit a lesser-known brand (I had to look up the company, as I had not heard of it). I prefer to buy from brands that have established reputations (such as this one), rather than gamble on random generic builds that are ubiquitous in this price range. Overall, I'm happy with this laptop and it will be a useful basic-purpose device for my everyday needs.

Great laptop for home or school use. Actual windows computer, not the google chrome laptops. Works great, easy to set up. Keyboard is easy to get used to. Screen is big enough and has great color and clarity. Runs all the software I need. Lightweight, fast charging, and long battery life. Probably the best laptop I have owned. Highly recommend.

I have been using computers since 1977 and have to say this is an excellent choice for a new or experienced user. Setup was extremely easy. Connecting to my home network was a breeze. There seems to be no bloatware on this Windows 11 home edition installation. It was set up without creating an account using an instruction video found on the web. Everything works as it should, once you add the programs you prefer for work processing, accounting or just gaming. I really like that it's charge port is USB-C, instead of the old type barrel connector. The touch-pad is responsive but can be disabled by pressing function key and space bar. As an older computer user, i like a mouse and appreciate the easy disabling of the touch pad. The built in numeric key pad is enabled / disabled via function and F12. I recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a well built thoughtfully designed computer.
