This is an ok safe, if you’re trying to keep children or family members from getting into you firearms and other belongings. This is an ok option. However my biggest grip with this product is the construction and the instructions/assembly video. People that are actively trying to get into your belongings, this safe is easy to break into. Luckily for me I live in an area that I really have no worry about burglary, I also intend for this to keep my children away from my firearms. The second grip is both the instructions and assembly video are about as clear as mud. I feel these really could’ve been better designed and illustrated.

I agree with the other non mechanical engineer reviewer. This was a straightforward build. I did experience an issue with the back panel, but watched the video that is in the item description and quickly figured out what I did wrong. I would watch the video and pay attention to the cut outs while installing. Setting the password was very simple. I am unsure of how to use the emergency power box that is supplied. I am assuming it’s to plug in to the front where the keypad is though. No way to charge it, so I assume it has an expected shelf life. LED light is only activated when there is low light. Update: this safe does not fit 8 or 12 long guns as described. It May fit 8 if they do not have a single attachment (scope or red dot). Looked into returning and not worth the hassle.

Easy set up. I feel the engineering is superb. The quality is excellent. I saw a few complaints on the bottom isn’t screwed in. Made no sense to me since the safe can be screwed to a wall. Plus if someone really wants to break into it they can do it other ways easier . Personally I like the design. Even has a LED light. The emergency battery backup. The locking top self. I’ll purchase another.

It's not assembled nor does it mention that it is. The holes do line up when done correctly. I read the "mechanical engineer" had some trouble on another review. Which is puzzling to understand if you cannot assemble a straight forward box I doubt his ability to handle a weapon. The lock works, keypad works, external power for the keypad also works. Four latches to secure the door shut and the rear mounts flawlessly secured the cabinet to my wall. For the price is it works. Works well, the door has shelves for magazines or ammo, top compartment has decent room for pistols, mags, ammo etc. If you do it right it'll work. Assembled and functioning in about 20min. Great but.
