This item was a very reasonable priced item, It was delivered promptly, it weighs about 5lbs easy to lift and move around with one hand and was easy to install, (Just the four little legs to screw in) My 5mth old, 45lb German Shepherd dog Lord Maximus (Max) took to it with no problem he loves laying on it. Max is also a puppy still and loves to chew He cannot chew on or through the material or fray the material, He could not chew or damage the edges of the bed. This is a very very undestructible item. It's also cool him down and this item doesn't need a lot of room (compact space) it can be broken down and stored if needed This is why I give this item a 5-star. After my 86lb dog chewed up, put his foot through, or otherwise destroyed previous outdoor elevated beds I finally popped for one of these (then ended up buying two more). One for the shade, one in the sun, and one for a frequent canine visitor. When it arrives there's virtually nothing to do but get it out of the box, screw in the legs (no tools necessary) and insert the little caps in the feet (which will keep the aluminum legs from scratching a floor or scraping concrete/brick outdoors). It's lightweight enough to lift with one hand while you hose it off. It stands up to sun, snow piling up on it, rain, and - most important - an active, heavy dog who is not delicate about flopping down to snooze comfortably and who sometimes dashes across it (rabbit!) or stands on it to see who happens to be passing by that needs to be greeted. It's really tough! And it looks nice, too. It's easy to move around and clean when needed. I keep a padded cushion on one and leave the other two bare; the two dogs work out who gets which one at any particular moment. Another excellent feature of this bed is no open spaces (e.g., near the legs). Previously purchased elevated outdoor beds all had openings at each corner which provided the opportunity to get a foot caught or grab an edge of the material and start gnawing. No chance for that with this design. One tip: put some Elmer's or even superglue around the little black rubber feet before inserting them into the legs because they tend to fall out. They're easy to pop back in if they do, but they're also easy to lose. Overall, an outstanding product and totally worth the cost! I couldn't be more pleased that I found these.

Had been thinking about buying a bed like this when suddenly my new little girl ate stuffing from the crate pad we had been using. It compacted and we had about a week's worth of issues - both ends, but mostly the one we really don't want to talk about. A bed like this then became more of a necessity, but I didn't know what to expect. I meant to order the one with padding, but also had no idea if the material was truly ripstop and I now have padding PTSD, so ordering the wrong one worked out overall. My bed flipping, dig happy, chewy chewer has not been able to eff with her crate pad anymore and I am thrilled. Other reviews made me cautious, but if my little fluffy jerk can't ruin it, it is a good product. Also it is absolutely water/pee proof but in order to get it out of the crate you have to tilt it diagonally, so to clean up messes (we only had the one) you would have to drag out the entire crate (what i did) or get some towering to soak it up.

We have an appropriate size kennel for our pup. The legs could be up to 2 inches shorter as now the added bed buts him at ceiling height while standing. Got this for its advertised durability, our boxer absolutely destroys every bed and blanket we give him for comfort. Hoping this does the trick. Seems to be solid and well made. Just be wary when buying, as we did not take leg height into consideration. 4 stars for the bed minus 1 for not thinking about adjustable legs as part of the build not a cheap purchase. I would recommend though.

This is the only dog bed that really survived our pitbull mix's bed destruction habits. Very durable. Pro: Very durable - no chewing damage after almost 3 years of use Easy to clean Provides airflow under the bed - may help keep the dog cool in the heat Lightweight/easy to move Nylon mesh can be replaced (not sure how hard that is to do or how easy it is to get the replacement parts because we never did it) Con: Plastic/rubber caps on the metal legs quickly came off and got lost. Need a better way to retain them. Metal legs get loose over time and need to periodically tighten them Ballistic nylon coming apart on the underside of the bed - not the nylon itself. Looks like it might be some coating coming off (see image). Didn't seem to impact the durability but this shouldn't happen (maybe need two layers back to back or something). Bed doesn't have any padding other than the slight flex of the nylon. May want to have a blanket on the bed (but then the dog might chew the blanket). Our dog seemed to like it even without a blanket (choose it over the ground). Bed is raised off the ground allowing air to flow under it so it may not retain heat as well as something against the ground when it is in the room where the dog is sleeping Overall very happy with this dog bed. Would buy again. Pictures are after a little less than three years use with a 75 to 80 lbs pitbull mix (that chewed up everything else usually within a day).
