I had a new pair of tennis shoes that I saved in the box 'just in case' when I quit playing tennis, but when I pulled them out, the sole had hardened and wasn't going to cut it, so I needed a new pair of shoes before I could play pickleball without hurting myself. (I did try and they stuck on the court and tweaked my foot - so watch that - court shoes are different for each sport). This is the 5th pair of pickleball shoes I ordered since no one had any in a store here to try on - frustrating! The others were either short or narrow in the toes (one of them was a different style of K-Swiss), and looked good but weren't really supportive. My feet need better. Feeling desperate by now and not willing to play again without proper shoes, a friend let me try her pair for fit with my orthotics. Her feet are more narrow than mine and she got these for bunion room and swears by them. They seemed like they were going to work so I ordered a pair for myself. Good move. I got them, played in them and Wow! I love them. The K-Swiss Express Lite pickleball shoe is super comfortable AND supportive. The toe box is rounder to not pinch (I have 'duck' feet), and the heel is still normal so I don't slip out of them. The stabilizer band under the arch adds a surprising amount of security to prevent rolling sideways with quick change movements. There is plenty of room for my high arches, and they are attractive. I hope they keep making them, but I may get a backup pair to make sure I have them!

I love these shoes. The color is beautiful and the shoe runs true to size. I wear a 7 and they fit perfectly. The shoes are a good quality and very comfortable on the pickleball court.

I have gone through 5+ pairs of shoes looking for some comfortable pickleball shoes. In my search, I have discovered that there IS a noticeable difference between tennis shoes, all court shoes and pickleball specific shoes. Like many that have decided to equip for pickleball, I am used to running shoes. Running shoes have very flexible soles and I like fairly cushioned soles. If your tastes and experience are similar, save yourself done time and rule out those closeout all court shoes. Leave those for the teenagers playing volleyball. Tennis shoes are everywhere and there are tons of options. Tennis shoes, though, are extremely stiff in the sole and upper. These Kswiss pickleball shoes have finally satisfied my needs. They are 1) stiffer than running shoes, but not so stiff that you end up stomping around the court, 2) have good court focused traction, 3) have good cushioning in the sole, 4) have a wide pad of stability and 5) come in several colors that don't look like garbage. General features I like about this shoe: tongue centering loop, decent lace length, extra hole at top for tightening, heel is padded and doesn't slip. Some possible detractors: there is slight rubbing at the ankle as others mentioned, but it was not a bother to me. Also, the toe box is not very square, so that might be an issue if you like a roomy toe box. They are also warmer than I am used to, but I imagine that is the case for most shoes of this style since they are almost all much more reinforced on top than running shoes are. For my tastes and use, this is a great pickleball shoe and meets my needs.

Wow! I'm so impressed with these pickleball shoes!! I played with them on for the first time and there was NO break-in period. Comfortable from the get go! They also offer more stability than my previous pair. The material at the heel keeps your heel from sliding up and... they look great!

Update!! I have played in these shoes for over 1 month now, playing almost daily 2-4 hours, and have noticed a few cons, unfortunately. 1- the biggest issue is the fit around the outside toe area. Not enough stiffness perhaps, but my feet get incredibly sore and cramping when i wear these shoes and play for a long period of time. If i wear other shoes, i don't get the same foot pain. Tried inserts and did not help the cramping in these shoes. 2- these show sweat stains almost immediately. The top of the shoe is fabric and it looks gross to me to see the sweat stains. If the foot pain wasn't so bad I'd wear these until they needed to be replaced. Unfortunately I cannot play in them with how my feet hurt so I will go back to my OG kswiss coutt express shoes. Original review after only wearing a few times: Great pickleball shoe! I Love K Swiss for court sports in general and have gone through a few pairs of K Swiss tennis shoes for pickleball. This one in my favorite. This shoe is so lightweight and breathable. Very comfortable to play in. No break-in time required. I play every day and played in a tournament the second time I wore these shoes- with no blisters or discomfort at all! They are stable/supportive,, but allow the right amount of sliding on the court!

I got these yesturday. Put them on this morning, played pickleball and have kept them on going on 6 hours now without any discomfort at all. I ordered a 7 W because my foot is just wide enough that a regular width is uncomfortable and if there's one thing I hate is an uncomfortable feet. The toe box is more rounded than pointed so my toes are not squished and the insole is slightly padded. The shoe is true to my size and the extra width feels perfect. My last pickleball shoes felt like I was clomping around the court on boards......not good when you want to be light on your feet. They are light weight and yet supportive. The only thing I did notice is that the shoe comes up to my ankle bone but the padding made it comfortable. I don;t know about durability but these will be my go to shoe from now on.
