Nike Air Max are so comfortable for running. You can really feel the support in the heel. But they are not heavy shoes, that's what I like about them. They give support without that feeling of having a huge weight on your heel. Depending on the miles you put on them, will depend on their life expectancy. If you are a runner and average 4 to 5 miles a day, you will notice considerable wear. And expect to replace them in 6 months time. Off trail running, maybe sooner. But for the price, they can't be beat. Do not wash them in the washer. I suggest hand washing and sun drying to lengthen the life of your shoes. I wear a size 8 and ordered an 8. They fit perfectly! I would say they are true to size. All around good quality. The shoes are breathable and I never have an issue with odor. ... show more

The shoes look great and fit true to size. The rubber along the bottom of the shoe has an odd bumpy texture as seen in some other reviews. It isn't noticeable when wearing or really at any time except the unboxing, but this is the only reason I removed a star.
