The media could not be loaded. I can’t say enough about K’nex if your child loves building. I bought this set for my 7 year old son, and he goes wild with his creativity. He freestyles and builds other creations with it and I love how you can find other manuals on their website.

My husband and son were having so much fun building the Ferris-wheel but then they noticed they didn’t have enough parts to complete it! They are missing over 50 pieces and can’t continue building! What a shame! Everything was going great and they were having so much fun and couldn’t wait to see it all finished! ... show more

Looks really fun if you like K'NEX. My grandsons are into Legos so I thought I'd see if they wanted to try something different. They both said they weren't interested in it. Looks like a fun set, but I guess I'll be sticking to the varieties of Legos they like instead.

My 10 year old son has only assembled the Ferris wheel so far, so my review might be a little limited. It is neat when it is assembled and it moves though. A couple of cautions...one, insert the batteries in the holder before you start assembling. It is difficult to do after it is attached to the finished item, but not impossible. Secondly, things have to be assembled exactly right/lined up just right or it will get stuck while it is turning. Lastly, the difficulty level was fine for my son. With Legos for the same age range, he just flies through them, but with this set, it definitely took some skill, but the challenge level was still okay. Not too easy, not too hard. ... show more

Can't wait to give this! Looks like lots of fun. Everything as expected! We counted and all parts there according to box. No extras! Yellow small sticks substituted with gray.     • Great gift for a 9 year old & 7 year old!
My sons loved K’nex when they were growing up. This K’nex purchase was a birthday gift for one of their sons. They all loved it! Put it together in about an hour. Added Lego characters as riders on the finished Ferris wheel. When they take it apart, they will be able to build a couple of other rides, but they’ll have to figure it out on their own without any directions because directions for the other two projects were not included. Maybe it’s a good thing…they can try to replicate or create something on their own. ... show more
