These sound excellent. I installed them in the walls of my office now I don’t have to have speakers in the way on my desk. And the sound is incredible. Installation was relatively easy. I do, however, recommend using an oscillating saw to cut the hole in the drywall. Much easier than using a hand drywall saw. I used 16 gauge wire pulled into my attic. And it seems to work very well. Seems more balanced of sound than I would have expected. But maybe that’s just my EQ doing its job. ... show more

I purchased 6 pairs originally. Added them to my 14ft ceiling in my living room, kitchen and on my master They are awesome. I run them as heights but they work amazing as surround or surround back. I have been a Klipsch fan for many years, and this in-wall speaker gets the job done well and looks great. Sound quality is fantastic, and I really like the adjustable horn tweeter to aim your sound. I highly recommend these speakers. You will not be disappointed.

I used these to replace some Monoprice in walls. Right of the bat I noticed an audible difference. Crisper highs and better midrange. I painted the screens with rattle can oil rubbed bronze to match the plans wall. Easier to install than the Monoprices as well.

I installed two of these in a new bathroom ceiling (note the only reason I used these was there was nowhere to surface mount other speakers nor was there enough space above the ceiling to use commercial JBL recessed speakers , as they have a very large 36” box that goes above them). My original plan was to use Two Yamaha HS8 powered speakers sitting on shelves but didn’t end up fitting in anywhere. (The HS8s sound great though you still need a subwoofer). I was not really sure what to expect but I did think it would be better than what it is. These are essentially car door speakers that you mount in your wall…and that is the sound you will get (though my car sounds better than these). Specifically- low/mid frequency is medium quality, Higu frequency is quite poor , no sparkle of clarity. *** note - I work as a commercial AV designer so normally use commercial products (even the cheap commercial stuff is better than these on the high frequency ). I had bought four speakers, I returned one pair and only kept these two because they were already installed and there is no space to put anything other than a similar sized product. Though I may just eat the cost of these and switch to a different consumer or commercial recessed speaker if I can find a same size…. So this review is to give you realistic expectations before you purchase. ... show more
