First and foremost delivery was extremely fast. When I received the package, it was very neat. The box had not been damaged or anything which sometimes happens during shipping. I was very, very impressed with the way everything was so neatly boxed. This has been a great buy for me. Took 5 minutes or less, right out of the box to put together, it is very sturdy. There's a door on the front, a door on the back, which I really love, so the animal doesn't feel caged in. If something does try to get it, it can flee out the backside, so that was a great idea. My cats love this house. They were all actually fighting over it to get in there, to who was going to get to stay in it, but of course, my little queen that i've had for almost twelve years was the one that won it over. I have 4 rescues and of course a dog that We rescued almost 20 years ago that now has cancer. Anyway, we love our animals and we also have another Kitty cat that has been coming up and I feed him and he has just gotten so close to us, but he is very frightened. He will not come in. I don't want him to freeze this winter and i'm telling you, if you're looking for something that's quick and easy to put together that you don't have to have tools.The velcro is extremely strong on this.It's very sturdy. It went together so fast. It has a heated bed in it, and it is so padded, and so cushiony. My little girl Melmers loves it. She got in there and she slept in it all night first night I put it together. I honestly can't say enough about this little house for kitties. I was so impressed, and since they fought over the one for the inside. My little guy that comes up everyday morning and night to eat needed a home and that's who I actually ordered it for because he is afraid to come in, so I ordered another one of these. I'm telling you, you will not be disappointed. I am more than pleased and in the future. After this other one that I just ordered again if I need them in the future, I'm hoping they will always have them because I will definitely be a repeat customer because they had great delivery service. Which that to me is great customer service and my other one that I just ordered is already going to be delivered tomorrow. And so when it said I was going to get it the next day, it was the truth, I got it. It was the most fantastic, easy little house to put together and it is sturdy. It's very sturdy, and it is weatherproof. Again, I like the 2 doors front and back and my Kitty cats love it. That's why I had to order another one for our little guy that comes up everyday the thought of him being out in the cold winter and not being able to have a heated bed to keep him warm. I just couldn't stand the thought of that. So I want to say a big Thank you to this company for making a great product that's easy to put together. That is sturdy and that the cat feels safe going in and I do think that they see that there is a door in the front and a door in the back, because the fear of being locked in somewhere and not being able to make your exit would make them hesitant, my kitties love it, and i'm sure my little guy that comes up that we've named Stripey will love it too !❤️ ... show more

I ordered this heated outdoor cat house for the 2 stray cats that sleep on my porch because I wanted them to have a safe, warm place while it’s cold. This particular heated cat house is easy to assemble, it’s durable, it’s made of a vinyl like material so it is somewhat waterproof instructions say to not put it directly under snowfall or rainfall & that has more to do with it is electric & plugs into an outlet. The bed itself is what heats up & it’s a very soft, plush bed that these cats I look after seem to really lie so far. It’s worth the money if you want to provide a warm cozy place for outdoor cats to sleep. This particular one is made for 2 cats or an extra large cat. The cats here that sleep in it, one is a pretty big boy & the other is a small, petite female cat. They both fit in it with ease just to give an idea of how much room it has. A stray mother cat showed up with 3 kittens 6 months ago, and mom has since left the kittens when they were about 2 months. They are scared, but it was getting cold for the winter, and decided to look for an option for shelter and warmth. We have tried multiple options, but this one is fantastic! It can be folded flat for storage, and easily assembles. with velcro and zippers. It is quite solid, and the cats like to climb on the roof, but it holds up really well. The cats love the house, and the heated base. The two doorways are a big hit. There are plastic flaps over the doors, but I found the cats wouldn't go through them. I cut one of them off half way up, and that did the trick - they were willing to enter if they didn't have to go through the flap. But learn from my mistake (!), the flaps are attached with velcro, so you can simply remove them if desired. The 3 kittens are almost adults, and in the cold, the 3 of them crammed into the house, but they would end up fighting because it was too small, and one of them would get chased out. So we ordered a second house, and put them side by side. They preferred to be together - probably for body heat, so we found a great solution. You can fold down one of the side walls by undoing the velcro and unzipping where the roof connects. Do that on both houses, and then we bought industrial strength velcro in a 2" width with an adhesive back at Home Depot. Measure the height of the wall, peel back the adhesive, and stick the one half in such a way that you can connect the velcro on the open side wall, and do the same on the other side. You will have to be a little creative with the two roof lines, but you can make them close pretty tightly - We just used a small bit of fabric to stuff in a couple small openings to block the cold. It really was pretty simply - and we now had two individual houses converted into a kitty duplex!! The cats love all the 'doors', though we blocked one to keep out some cold. Now all three cats can comfortably curl up together. This extended size can hold two cats - if they are really large it could be tight. If it is going to be outside in an area that gets rain and snow, you need to put some kind of covering over it. It is water resistant, but it needs to be protected. We pulled a tarp over the top of an out of the way section of our deck, tucked the houses in so they are completely covered and protected from the rain and snow. I highly recommend this product.
