This product is just as advertised if you take the time to read everything and it works great. I use this for my cat who stays in the shed with an outdoor enclosure attached to window. The shed isn't insulated but has cardboard on the walls with a heater running. It still gets pretty cold in there and I wanted to be sure she would be safe in the winter. I got this cat house to put in the shed and it works perfectly and she enjoys it. It heats well, if you lay your hand on it you can almost instantly feel the heat. I know with the weight of my cats entire body on that heating pad, she will definitely be feeling warm. Assembling it is super easy with Velcro and it's actually quite sturdy. You can remove the door flaps for the entre way by just detaching the Velcro which is convenient. I don't notice any air leaks in the house. As long as you properly line the Velcro pieces up evenly when assembling it, there isn't an issue with cold air entering from anywhere besides the entryway of course. There is a small portion of floor inside in front of the entre ways of the house that isn't heated but my cat doesn't seem to mind and it didn't keep her from getting on the large heating pad that was on the remainder of the house floor. This would not be a good house to put outside in your yard since it is not water proof or weather proof, it's sturdy but not sturdy enough to survive a harsh thunderstorm. But it does a great job in a garage or shed, keeping your cat warm and dry from any leaks your shed or garage may have. As long as the house is placed inside of something that already has a roof and some walls, it's perfect. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and neither could my cat, it was just what I needed. ... show more

This is a great house for cats. Good size. We got it for a mama cat and her 3 babies. They all fit in it perfectly. The heated pad inside kept them nice and warm. Easy to put together and plenty sturdy.

First and foremost delivery was extremely fast. When I received the package, it was very neat. The box had not been damaged or anything which sometimes happens during shipping. I was very, very impressed with the way everything was so neatly boxed. This has been a great buy for me. Took 5 minutes or less, right out of the box to put together, it is very sturdy. There's a door on the front, a door on the back, which I really love, so the animal doesn't feel caged in. If something does try to get it, it can flee out the backside, so that was a great idea. My cats love this house. They were all actually fighting over it to get in there, to who was going to get to stay in it, but of course, my little queen that i've had for almost twelve years was the one that won it over. I have 4 rescues and of course a dog that We rescued almost 20 years ago that now has cancer. Anyway, we love our animals and we also have another Kitty cat that has been coming up and I feed him and he has just gotten so close to us, but he is very frightened. He will not come in. I don't want him to freeze this winter and i'm telling you, if you're looking for something that's quick and easy to put together that you don't have to have tools.The velcro is extremely strong on this.It's very sturdy. It went together so fast. It has a heated bed in it, and it is so padded, and so cushiony. My little girl Melmers loves it. She got in there and she slept in it all night first night I put it together. I honestly can't say enough about this little house for kitties. I was so impressed, and since they fought over the one for the inside. My little guy that comes up everyday morning and night to eat needed a home and that's who I actually ordered it for because he is afraid to come in, so I ordered another one of these. I'm telling you, you will not be disappointed. I am more than pleased and in the future. After this other one that I just ordered again if I need them in the future, I'm hoping they will always have them because I will definitely be a repeat customer because they had great delivery service. Which that to me is great customer service and my other one that I just ordered is already going to be delivered tomorrow. And so when it said I was going to get it the next day, it was the truth, I got it. It was the most fantastic, easy little house to put together and it is sturdy. It's very sturdy, and it is weatherproof. Again, I like the 2 doors front and back and my Kitty cats love it. That's why I had to order another one for our little guy that comes up everyday the thought of him being out in the cold winter and not being able to have a heated bed to keep him warm. I just couldn't stand the thought of that. So I want to say a big Thank you to this company for making a great product that's easy to put together. We were feeding 2 male, feral cats. The first wasnt really feral, used to be a pet, and became friendly. He took to the house right away. We rescued him after an infection during a cold snap. After we brought him in the other cat immediately started using it. The pros: good weather protection, heating pad works, both cats took to it right away. The cons: neither cat would use it with the 2nd door attached, may or may nor be big enough for 2 cats but they didn't share. That's about it for the bad. At first, I was hesitant but it has worked out wonderfully. I love it when i come home on a cold morning and the cat is cuddled up and just looks at me completely content. *UPDATE: Still very happy. It's been 6 years of 4 season outdoor exposure and is holding up well. My gfci outlet is intermittently tripping so I think the heating pad is finally failing after 6 years. Worth buying another from this brand. **UPDATE: I feel like the quality compared to the 2017 one has gone down. The floor is a piece of nylon fabric with a hole on each side for the power cord. I need to compare to the old floor. Water can enter and the heating pad is the only thing keeping the cat of the ground besides the fabric. The old version had a roof that used zippers and velcro to attach while the new version has a bunch of velcro. ... show more
