These blocks snap together easily and automatically, which makes lining them up a literal snap and keeps building focused on creativity while encouraging assisted tactile muscle memory. There are, as far as we can figure, ~18 different types of blocks, and some of the blocks have different designs on their sides, adding to the count of different visual options for building walls and lawns and ponds and windows and play areas for the little character faces and wood-looking tree trunks and TNT and space fireballs and what looks like lava… These blocks appear to be standardly-sized and are a perfect base for a first set or a great mass-addition for people who may already have their first set of these. (Fair warning: These are so much fun for the kiddos that they can become a bit addicting. Once the imaginations get started, there always seems to be a yearning for more blocks to add… That is where this massive set came in. :^) Putting them away is wildly easy, too. They ship as a big block of 5 x 6 x 10 cubes (so, 300ea cubes total <wow!> in this kit). To pack them away just means to gather them (either as a mass or grouped together by design and style) and let them cling to each other as groups of 5 cubes x 6 cubes, and let those groups snap together until all 10 columns are combined . . then slide the adjoined block into the convenient box that is included with the set. The media could not be loaded. This magnetic building block set is very fun and engaging, especially for creative and open-ended play. My daughter loved. The blocks fit together well and feel consistent in size and alignment, which makes building satisfying and intuitive. The magnetic connection strikes a good balance: it’s strong enough to hold small and medium structures together, but not so strong that it becomes difficult to separate the pieces. As shown in the video, the blocks come apart smoothly without requiring excessive force, making them easy for younger kids to handle and reducing the risk of pinched fingers. For very large or tall structures, the magnetic force can feel a bit limited, and builds may come apart under their own weight. This doesn’t affect normal play, but it’s something to keep in mind if you plan on building oversized constructions. On the positive side, this also reinforces safe handling and easy disassembly. The set encourages imagination and creativity, allowing kids to freely build towers, walls, and different layouts. These were SOOOOOOO disappointing. I was expecting a variety of blocks and colors and themes, maybe some nature blocks, green grass blocks, animals, etc. Random blocks in a variety similar to the pictures. We pretty much received a giant box of ghosts and skeleton parts and jack o’ lanterns. It’s a load of left over Halloween garbage that no one wanted back in October. That’s not random. That is bait and switching blocks that otherwise would be major clearance and selling them as current, relevant blocks and there by disappointing any children who aren’t ghoul-lovers. We’ve ordered many sets of these magnetic Minecraft type blocks and these are by far my (and my kids’) least favorite set.

This 300-piece grassland set is a fantastic way to build out detailed landscapes. The variety of tiles allows for much more imaginative play than your standard plain magnetic blocks. While the listing mentions "strong magnets," I actually found that they are not overly strong. This actually turned out to be a benefit for my younger children, as they can easily pull the blocks apart and rearrange them without struggling or getting frustrated. It makes for a very smooth building experience for little hands. One thing to keep in mind is that the size of these blocks is very small. While they are great for kids with developed fine motor skills, they are definitely not for babies or toddlers who might still put things in their mouths. Because of the small scale, they are better suited for the older preschool-to-elementary age range. This is a wonderful gift for a child aged 3+ who loves building complex worlds. Just be aware of the small size and keep them away from the "mouthy" toddler stage!

Only the top layer is different The next layers are perfect for a spooky theme Some are the same on all sides. The "people" have 2 same sides. Pumpkin ones are different on all sides For a "random" 300 piece set its good. Could be more random but there's enough wall pieces to make some awesome buildings Still an awesome value
