I like to have a key chain or fob holder in or on my purses. So many bags have them now that when I DON'T have one I feel lost. These spring 0-rings are awesome and fit on the zipper pulls of some of my bags, as well as on the strap connections. I also put one through the "tag" on the inside of my bag and have yet another place to clip my key fob and house key. I placed one on each side of the bag in the photo in the "ribbon tab" at the end of the zipper and paired them with a 1/2 inch lobster claw clasp - also in gunmetal. This size is very versatile. The overall size is small and not overwhelming. It definitely looks like an accessory of the bag and not a "carabiner attached to a bag". The gunmetal color is subtle and a really upscale touch. Unfortunately, had to give one star rating in order to draw attention to the fact that this, otherwise fine, product is packaged in multiple layers of unnecessary plastic: 1. multiple small zip lock bags each containing TWO O rings are contained in… 2. a hard plastic box that is next… 3. wrapped in a layer of plastic (presumably Amazons packaging) O rings themselves are good and precisely as advertised but manufacturers (and Amazon) MUST become more responsible about the NECESSITY of eliminating excessive plastic packaging ... show more

My goal was to have all gold metal on my keys. I should have read the reviews on how thick the metal actually is on each ring. They fit through a basic key chain ring. Or the ring the comes on most purses but actually getting through the key it self...NOT GONNA HAPPEN! and definitely not getting it through a key fob. I blame my own stupidity though...I should have thought about that before ordering...it's okay though I improvised with things I found around the house and made it work. So I'm extremely happy with the product. I feel my keys a secure but if I need to take my house key off while the car is running I can do so quickly without hurting my nails or fingers like I would with a regular keyring. ... show more

I used these for an unusual application. I replaced lower quality rings on a scoreboard for lawn bowls. This consists of thin metal sheets with numbers painted on them. They hang from a metal bar via rings. When a score is increased the player flips over the metal sheet and the one underneath has the next higher value. The original metal rings had a knuckle that was just a bit larger than the holes punched in the metal sheet. You could flip over the metal sheet but had to wrestle it over the knuckle, resulting in deforming the metal. These new rings do not have a knuckle and their diameter is small enough to fit through the holes. They work much better and the metal sheets are no longer being deformed. ... show more

    • Thickness of the ring to TOO large for standard keys

I bought these thinking that surely they were made with standard keys in mind. I was wrong. Not one OF MY automobile or house key has a hole big enough for the thickness of the ring. The spring mechanism works, and they seem well made, but are useless for me to put my keys on them. Not happy.
