My dog loves playing with this ball!
My dog loves this ball. I bought it 10 months ago, and it's still going strong (even after an icy winter). At first, my dog was a little scared of it (because it's bigger than her other balls). But now, she plays with that thing all the time. When I let her into the backyard, the first thing she does is run for her Hol-ee Roller (I don't really like the derogative name of the product) ball, grabs it and races around the yard. She likes to bring the ball to me, so I will toss it for her. It's also very easy to kick. With a good lift kick, the ball rises easily into the air, and my dog loves to jump and catch it.

A silent toy that still holds a dog’s interest
We bought this large size for our Rottweiler- but it was our 45# dog who fell in love with it. Cooper is 16, has kidney disease, dementia and loss of muscle coordination; so, it was an absolute joy to watch him engage with this toy. His foot went through the ball once, but he figured it out. He pushes it with his nose, and tries to squeak it. He “talks” to it. We haven’t heard that in a long time. It’s light enough that he can lift it - and it rolls and bounces nicely. For him it’s perfect. Our Rottie seems to understand that it’s his toy. Now, that’s love and understanding.

Soft, but durable!
My beautiful sweet old lady (10 1/2 yrs old) loves her toy. It’s soft. But even though the material it’s soft it’s also strong and durable. It does bounce some but not like a ball. She’s not a chewer but the toy has lasted now for a while. Definitely a toy suitable for dogs, but I don’t know if for all dogs. We’ve played inside, outside, tug of war, etc…. And it has survived all. I think it’s good value for the money. :)

Absolutely love this brand of ball for my dog
I end up replacing these every couple years, yep that's right, years. My border collie will grab this ball in his mouth and then kick another ball around. Don't know why he has to have something in his mouth to play soccer, but he is unique. He managed to tear one of these up when he was in his teething stage, but it took him months, and I took it away as soon as he managed to remove a piece of it. Otherwise, we usually lose these much more often than them getting destroyed through constant chewing, and I suspect heavy weathering outside for an extended period of time. Nowadays he doesn't chew on rubber nearly that often, he has developed his own picky preferences. This ball is his must have for playing around. He loves to drop it down the stairs and play fetch with himself. It's easy for him to grab, it isn't heavy so we don't worry about furnishing, walls, or family members when he is tossing it around. It is much more durable than most, with the exception of really heavy chewers/teething, even then it held up for a long time. As long as you are careful to remove it if they manage to chew through I would even try it out with teething puppies. The lawnmower is also this balls nemesis, it loses every time. If only I could convince the dog that he needs to stop sacrificing toys to the lawnmower :-)

Snake didn't care for it much
Lots of people recommend these for snakes, but mine didn't care too much about it. He generally left it alone in his enclosure, and would only fiddle with it if I held both it and him in my lap while watching YouTube (it did an ok job keeping him off the keyboard). I feel like it would work fine if my snake weren't a doofus. Also, even at the largest size (X-Large, 7.5 inch diameter), the smaller holes were a little too small for his ball python girth, requiring me to cut them for safety purposes. All in all, it seems fine, but it's hard for me to give 5 stars, and I'm mostly just leaving this here for other snake owners who are interested in looking into this as enrichment, especially in regards to the size.

This is our favorite dog toy...we think it's his too.
When we moved into our house, we found a very similar dog toy in the back yard and our dog loves it! It was easy for us to kick/throw and it was just as easy for him to run and pick it up. It's a really strange game of fetch because he doesn't always want to bring it back...he wants to chew on it. He's a very aggressive chewer, so it took him a while, but he finally destroyed the old one. The brand had come off of the old toy so I went searching and finally found this. When we opened the box, he saw what was inside and went crazy trying to get the new one. He knew what it was. We finally got the thing out of its plastic restraints and out the door we went. He's a very happy dog. :) But...it didn't take him as long to chew through this one. It is still usable, but it probably won't be for long. We will get the next size up and hope that it's tough. Our dog will surely test it out for them! Our dog LOVES this toy, just wish it lasted a little bit longer.

Blue Dye Coming Off
I've had this almost a year & as we're sitting on porch while its raining, I grabbed the wet blue ball & the blue dye came off onto my hand & my dog is ingesting this. My dog has had this in her mouth all this time. Yes she hasnt ripped it but does it really matter. I would think this cant be good for my dog.
