I've been very pleased with this unit so far. It installed very easily and the user interface to control the settings (equalizer, display colors, etc.) are very easy to manipulate. I use the USB port to play my favorite tunes from a small thumb drive and the folder selection process is easy enough to control that I didn't need to print out a long list of instructions in order to make changes. The random option works well and the sound is better than the Alpine system it replaced. It has plenty of power to deliver my music over the engine, tire, and wind noise of my classic Bronco. The shallow mounting depth also made it much easier for me to properly route and connect my defrost ducts behind the unit (which was one of the main reasons I chose to replace my full-size Alpine unit in the first place). The display looks nice and the controls are laid out in a way that makes them easy to access. Well worth the relatively inexpensive price tag. ... show more

Bought this for my boat and was planning to use this with my Apple Watch Ultra currently operating on watchOS9.5 in family setup mode. The plan was to leave my phone at home while on the boat and connect my watch directly to the unit but unfortunatly this feature is not yet available with watch OS. Works fine with my phone. ... show more

I love my new radio for my boat. The old one, you could not see the display in the bright sun but this one is very visible in the brightest sun. Easy to pair and use. I love it.

Easy install. Used it to replaced a Kenwood unit in my boat that had a mind of its own. Installed this and we’ve been jamming all over the lake ever since. It’s a direct replacement for the Kenwood I had, nearly identical interface also, but I do believe the sound quality on this is better, louder…and it was cheaper! ... show more

The 3rd trip out (about 5 weeks into having it installed), the unit was hesitant to power on, repeatedly kept turning itself off, then wouldn't turn on anymore. Checked fuses, ensured power to harness, tried a different harness, removed and reattached face plate, cleaned out all the connectors.... she's dead. Always kept covered and never splashed. So much for being marine grade. ... show more

I purchased this radio because it had the most "decent" display of all the name brand single din radios. It seems like manufacturers put way less effort into single din displays than they used to. Remember when you could get a dot matrix or oled single din radio? Anyway, this one actually had two lines of text. I didn't really need a marine radio, but in use I do like the white display. I like that I was able to pick a green illumination color that was close to my truck interior illumination. The absolute worst part about this radio is that is loses memory just about every time you use it. I always use usb, but when I turn the radio on it will be set on fm, and the volume will be higher than needed. Its a waste of time to set the clock, as it will reset to 12:00 the next time you turn the radio on. I went to update the radio firmware, but it was already at the latest level. I would recommend not buying this radio for the one fact that it doesn't hold its memory ... show more
