I had one of these rugs behind a chair under a cat tree in a smallish room. In less than ten minutes, I couldn't stand the dusty/moldy odor that came from the rug. Prior experience with similar rugs and the same smell equals amplification of this odor. It won't air out and it isn't washable. We ordered two and they are going back ASAP. They are poorly made and smelly. Not good. Original review: We purchased two rugs to place under cat trees to prevent scarring our wood floors when moving cat trees to clean. I vacuumed them with a Dyson on the lowest setting. The setting was low enough that it didn't pull the rug into the vacuum head. However, both rugs ended up with broken pieces of yarn in several places on the rug, as well as filling the vacuum cup with a lot of fluff from the rug. As we won't see the rugs and they suit our purposes, we will keep them. If I hadn't thrown out ragged bath towels, they would have done the job too. I do not recommend this product.
