First of all, I'm extremely grateful to Amazon for their quick shipping. Although I don't own a prime account, I was able to get my package before the expected arrival date. Now moving onto the mattress pad, I would like to say that I am actually a returning customer. I first purchased a king sized mattress pad for my room and I really loved it. I thought it would be a great idea to repurchase a full xl size for my guest room. The package is vacuumed into a bag so it looks quite odd and funny at a glance, but once opened, the bag begins to slowly expand and inflate. I thought I should follow the care instructions after receiving my mattress pad because I didn't want to ruin it, and I'm glad i did. After i washed it, the pad was so soft！it fits my bed really great, and even comes with a fitted skirt to help it fit to the mattress. At first, I was quite hesitant on buying this product because it seemed too excessive for the summer time, however, I'm so glad I decided on taking the risk. This mattress pad has proved itself to be great all season round. Its actually very cooling so I love it in the summer, and yet its warm and soft for the winter time.     • Not worth the money
A lot of the reviews were good on this product, but it does not really do anything for my mattress. Nor does it make you bed feel like a hotel bed. It did give the mattress a little bit of cushion, but not much.

I received it today and admittedly haven’t had a full night on it. However, it feels pretty good. I bought a very good mattress and went on the firm side due to orthopedic issues. Of course, it needs to be broken in and is pretty hard as compared to the showroom, so the last week has been tough. I bought this to take the edge off and it definitely adds a soft plush layer to do just that. I do believe I will sleep much better tonight and will update my review if indicated. ... show more

We used this on top of the featherbed we have had for a while. investment and it rightly improved the comfort and stability of the feather bed. This product is not as thick as it looks in the photo, so if you're looking for a big plushie mattress topper, this is not the one.
