  • Problem with filling
This company has the worse service. I bought a $4800 machine and it had problems during the warranty period. In addition It needed service twice in the last 3 months. This new machine has the same problem. Don’t buy a Jura. Quality is not the same as it was.

  • Amazing machine
I have had it for less than a week. I am amazed. Countless ways to customize your coffee drinks. Excellent quality. Easy to learn and use.

  • Mostly good, with a few issues
We've been Jura users for almost 20 years and this is our third machine, having replaced a Giga 5 that served us very well for 8 years or so. First, the good: if you, like us, prefer to also drink decaf and be able to blend it in with regular pretty much on the fly, the Giga 10 and the models preceding it (5 and 6) are to my knowledge the only options available regardless of brand. They are fantastic machines limited only by the user's creativity in what they can output. You can dial in a virtually endless combination of strength, temperature, blend, size to make a bespoke cup of Joe. The not-so-good: it's no longer Swiss Made like the other Jura machines we've had prior to this. Now it's only Made in Switzerland, which is not the same: "Swiss Made" and "Made in Switzerland" are both labels used to indicate the origin of a product, typically associated with high-quality Swiss craftsmanship. However, there is a subtle difference between the two: 1. Swiss Made: This label is more stringent in its requirements. To carry the "Swiss Made" designation, a product must meet specific criteria set by Swiss law. These criteria often include that a significant portion of the product's value is created in Switzerland. For watches, for example, at least 60% of the production costs must be incurred in Switzerland, and the final assembly must also take place in Switzerland. The "Swiss Made" label is a mark of quality and precision. 2. Made in Switzerland: This label is more general and does not have as strict criteria as "Swiss Made." It generally means that the product was manufactured or assembled in Switzerland, but it may not necessarily meet the same stringent standards as "Swiss Made." Some products that are "Made in Switzerland" may contain more foreign components or have less of their production value generated in Switzerland compared to those labeled "Swiss Made." "Swiss Made" implies a higher level of Swiss involvement in the product's production and is often associated with premium quality, while "Made in Switzerland" is a broader label indicating that the product has some connection to Switzerland but may not meet the same rigorous standards. This is reflective of our experience with the Giga 10; while we had zero issues with the Giga 5 and S9 we've previously owned, the Giga 10 had to be replaced due to various defects three (3!) times since July, meaning in less than 60 days of ownership. The materials overall feel somewhat more plasticky and flimsy too, undoubtedly because of the cost-cutting required to maintain the price point. The MSRP of the Giga 5 from 8 years ago is more or less identical to that of the Giga 10 of 2023 despite years of inflation. The saving element is Jura's customer service; they advance-shipped brand-new replacement machine after machine until we got a good one. We're now on the 4th Giga 10 in 60 days and hope it will be the one to last for the next 8 years or so. Bottom line is, if you need endless customization capabilities that deliver barista-level output, there just isn't a substitute in the super auto realm. Feed it good beans and maintain as prompted by the machine and you're in coffee heaven, day after day. ... show more

  • Faulty on arrival
Displayed an error code the first time plugged in despite the nice pamphlet stating it was tested before shipment. The device asked me to contact Jura customer support who were conveniently closed for system upgrades. Not great and disappointing after owning 3 previous generations of Jura machines without any problems! ... show more

  • Stopped working after 5 weeks. No return calls from customer support
This stopped producing coffee after owning it for only 5 years. Tried multiple ways to fix but the support manual and online info are very lacking. Called the customer support number listed on the machine and finally left a vm after no one answered after 30 minutes on hold. This was 6 days ago and I still haven't received a call back.
