Bought this trumpet for my child who is in high school band. We bought less expensive trumpets in the past while he was in middle school. All of which after a year the valves were sticking after being oiled and the finish was peeling. I do not know anything about trumpets but my son tells me that is sounds great and is high quality. We'll see after a year on how it holds up and hopefully it will last him a long time. Seeing that I payed over $1,100 I hope it will last. This trumpet far exceeded my expectations. Right out of the case, it played like a professional horn. Low-range, mid-range, and high-range were in excellent form. Easy to play. Great valve action.     • What an Awesome Trumpet
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son. We had looked at a couple of beginner level trumpets at affordable prices especially because I wasn’t sure if this was something he wanted to do long-term. He’s been playing the trumpet for a few years now and about to enter high school and he’s passionate about it. I surprised him with a Jupiter trumpet and it seemed like the best advice his band teacher could give us. He was excited, he said the valves are very smooth and it sounds amazing compared to his school issued loaner. This even came with a mouthpiece and an awesome carrying case that doubles as a backpack. Would recommend to anyone who is able to make a purchase in this price range, because it’s a great value, I’d buy it again. ... show more
