Unlike most kits, this one comes with a metal casing 276 CFM fan. If you consider buying a kit like this, make sure you pay attention to how much CFM your fan is pushing. The media could not be loaded. It seemed really nice at first. Wasn’t that quiet to begin with but within a couple of months, omg the noise is obnoxious.     • UPDATE - FAN BURNT OUT after 3 months was a bit noisy
The motor just burnt out today (3 months) , I only use it at night and it was really hot this morning and not running. The fan and filter work well, the only issue is the fan control cannot be controlled by a master switch. You need to turn on and off manually every time
