  • Jungle Jack - Extremely easy to use and super stable.
Was looking for a Mower Lift for my SCAG Zero-Turn Mower. Neighbor had what I call a "traditional" lift where the front end is lifted by the wheels that he offered to let me borrow. After looking at it up close I chose to look for other options as I wasn't sure the wheel holders could be adjusted wide enough to fit my ZT mower. After looking at other options on Amazon I came across the Jungle Jack. Had not seen one like it but after doing the mandatory YouTube research I decided to give it a try. It is by far one of the best purchases I've made. Works exactly as advertised. Very easy for a 64 YO man to EASILY leverage up the front end. Once lifted and locked mower was very secure. I tried shaking the mower front end side to side and pushed down on front end (I don't recommend this of course!) and it didn't budge. Lowering was just as easy and it takes up a lot less storage space than the traditional two wheel lifts. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • It works with a Scag Liberty Z 36 on the front end It works with a Scag Liberty Z 36 on the front end
This Jungle Jim mower jack works on the front end of my 2024 Scag Liberty Z with the 36 in Hero deck. I could NOT get an answer to that question from Amazon or from anyone else for weeks as I pondered the purchase of this jack, not even via the Jungle Jim chat function. I took a gamble, and it worked out. As close as an answer to that question is the Jungle Jim statement that this jack fits "most" ZTR mowers. The Jungle Jim jack lifts the front end of my Scag about 19 inches off the floor but I have to place it to the left or right side of the dead center dual anti-scalp wheels on the front of the mower deck - see the photo. There is no reasonable lifting point in the back of my Scag for the Jungle Jack because due to the engine weight, any off center lift could cause the machine to tip over sideways. If I need to lift the rear of my Scag, I’ll use a floor jack and jack stands. I do have to raise my Scag mower deck height to its max level to get the hook to fit but that is simple on my Scag. I have not seen that fact mentioned in any video, the manual or any review. See the other photo that shows the deck height adjustment on Scag that is foot pedal operated and uses a lock pin. - takes 60 seconds to raise to max height. Why did I give the 1-star deduction and not a 5-star rating if this jack works well with my new Scag. Simple - assembly is annoying. It’s a battle for lameness between the assembly video and the POS manual but the manual loses quickly. I don’t know why companies like this don’t put more energy into manuals and assembly videos. It gives them a a bad name s Jungle Jim could make assembly far easier with one simple addition. Put matching number or letter decals or stickers on matching frame parts. Their instruction manual is not helpful either. I worked as a part time auto and diesel mechanic in the 70's and 80's in the summer working my way through college. Vehicle repair and assembly schematics and documentation even in those days was far better than the manual with this jack. Bottom line is that this jack is less expensive compared to Mojack, is sturdy, has a small footprint for storage, doesn’t use the wheels as lifting points and appears safe but only in the proper lifting locations on your mower. Always use jack stands with ANY jack so you don’t join the “odd death” category. Hope this helps! ... show more

  • Great tool, mediocre assembly manual.
Today was my first time using this, having bought it in July. Wow, what a difference! What used to be a difficult, time-consuming chore is now fast and easy. The price was a bit much but given the saved time and frustration, not to mention the increased safety, it's well worth it. My only beef is the assembly manual could be clearer. There were a couple times I had to reference forward and backward to look at pictures and steps. I also had to undo some assembly due to less-than-clear instructions. ... show more

  • Why did I wait so long to buy this??? Why, WHY???
***UPDATE*** it’s been six years since I bought this and it’s still one of the best purchases I’ve made. Functions great and is easy to use and super heavy duty! Glad I purchased this, should’ve done it sooner!!! I was really on the fence about spending this much money for what I would use as a lawnmower Jack, but I was tired of using my car ramps every time I wanted to clean underneath the deck or change the blades. You DO have to assemble it and the assembly directions are less than stellar, but once it was together, holy cow, it’s the best thing ever! I have a commercial grade zero turn mower and it lifts it with ease. The “foot assist“ lever on the jack makes lifting a piece of cake. This Jack gives me plenty of clearance to be able to access all areas of the 3-blade mower deck. I used to dread cleaning the grass out from under the deck and didn’t do it as often as I should have because it was such a big job to get underneath. Not anymore, quick and easy from now on! I can have my mower up in the air in way less time than it took me to lug out my ramps. The Jack also has a pin that locks into place to help prevent accidents. If you seriously thinking about buying this jack, don’t hesitate, just do it, you won’t be sorry! ... show more

  • Great mower lift
Assembly was straight forward. I chose to assemble the step on the lower bolt hole due to me being short and old! I was a little worried about being able to lift the mower but it was no issue at all. Cub cadet zt1 54p lifted with ease. I like the twist handle of the V2 version, makes releasing and disengaging the lock bar much easier and safer. I really like this Jungle Jim V2 and would highly recommend. Having the ability to so easily lift the mower will make deck cleaning a regular task instead of seldom like on the lawn tractor when I had to remove the deck to clean it. This was a very good purchase, well worth the money! ... show more

  • Love the lift! Hate the instructions!
I want to give this 5 stars since the product is so impressive. It lifted my large zero turn with no problem. It's also somewhat transportable too as it isn't too big. It has a good amount of weight, but you should expect that for all of the heavy mowers it can handle. It doesn't take up a ton of space. It looks like a scooter and takes up the same space as one. The only negative is the assembly. The instructions are HORRIBLE. Don't even bother to read them. Just look up the video from the manufacturer on youtube and get ready to pause and rewind a few times. As long as you have the patience to assemble this, it is outstanding. I love the product but hate the instructions enough to take off a star for it. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. ... show more
