I was kind of concerned when I got towards the end of building it and put the table top on. It seemed wobbly and unstable and that's when I realized that for the last two screws that you screw in from the underside, that I should have used the tool they provided and not my regular screwdriver. This is because my regular screwdriver did not allow the screw to go in all the way. Once I figured that out and grabbed the screwdriver tool they provided, I was able to get the screws in all the way and it created a much more sturdier piece. It's crazy how just those last two long screws make such a difference. With that being said, I did put this together by myself. I'm not going to pretend like it was easy. But, it wasn't hard, either. I do have experience putting a lot of furniture together like this by myself for myself and other family members... so I definitely had that working in my favor. If you do not have much experience with putting large bulky items together like this by yourself then you will definitely want to make sure you have somebody that can help you before you make this purchase. Additionally, know that this is not a pure white. It is definitely a shade of off-white. I didn't notice how much it was off-white until I purchased a plant that had a pure white planter and stood it next to it. Like, a new immediately that it wasn't a pure white but I didn't recognize how many shades off until I had the white planter sitting next to it. I purchased this, a coffee table, and a set of end tables all separately and was able to make it match up pretty good. So even though this is not in a set, there are definitely ways that you can pair it with other furniture. Even though I did not buy the other pieces with this product, I can still post pictures of the other items to give you ideas and see how you can make it all mesh together. I did have one issue... but it's my fault, I think? I'm not sure if the instructions were clear or if I just absolutely missed the step. But, in the part of the instructions when it tells you to slide in the large back piece that has the hole for your cords to go through? I missed the part where you're also supposed to slide in the two side back-panels. Therefore, currently, even though it's all put together, I do not have the backing on the side shelves. In order for me to put that in I'm going to have to completely remove the top and slide those in. That is definitely a project for another day because my body is already tired from this move and that tabletop portion of the entertainment cabinet is super heavy. Keep that in mind, also. Some people may require two people just to lift the table-top. But, I like that it was heavy. It's weight actually surprised me. Means it's a lot more sturdy than a lot of these cheaper designs. You'll want to be careful with care to prevent scratches. You want to make sure you use proper cleaning techniques and if you plan on putting drinks\moist items up there... definitely the use coasters. Even though it is not the most sturdy piece of furniture you can buy, it's not bad, especially for the price. I think it's a great piece for people who are on a budget or starting over.. or for people who are just getting their first place for the first time and don't have a lot of money to spend. It is a nice piece that does not look cheap and industrial. I also like how it's pretty basic and simple (without having that industrial vibe)... because it's easier to dust and clean. Overall, especially for the price, I would recommend this product. However, I cannot comment on longevity as I only just got the cabinet and haven't even been able to use it as I'm still waiting for my other furniture to be delivered. As you can see I still have a box of tools sitting on there from when I was putting everything together. 😂 Should anything change down the road I will try to remember to come and update this review.

I loved the country look and ordered it thinking family would help me put it together. I was impatient and at 78, decided I could put this 70+ pounds of multiple parts and pieces together by myself. With easy to follow directions, I took my time and did it without any help. Tip: because it was going to be on wood flooring, I put 8 felt cushions on the underside after finishing the base before proceeding further. As heavy as it is, I have easily pushed it to several different places before deciding where I wanted it. (TV is being mounted on the wall.)

It took me almost three weeks to finally put this TV stand together—not because it was overly complicated, but because I was intimidated at first. The instructions mentioned it should take two people about 45 minutes, and as someone who’s recently single, that really discouraged me. My ex used to build everything, and I even asked him for help, but he didn’t. In the end, I decided to face that fear and do it myself, and I’m so glad I did! Step by step, I followed the instructions and built it solo in about an hour and a half. Honestly, it might have gone even faster if I had placed all the wooden dowels in and secured everything at once. The stand itself looks great, feels sturdy, and the sliding barn doors give it such a nice touch. More importantly, it gave me a sense of pride and accomplishment knowing I could do it all on my own. If you’re nervous about assembly, take your time and trust the process—you’ll surprise yourself like I did!

My fiancé and I recently broke up and he took the entertainment center, among other things. So, I ordered a replacement. Package is heavy, about 80 pounds. The delivery person did not leave it at the door, but rather at the bottom of the stairs (I’m in a second floor apartment.) I decided I was a strong, independent woman so I hauled that oblong package of dead weight up the stairs myself, much to my back’s chagrin. Upon dismantling the package and taking inventory, I was missing the “K” hardware, but had two “L” hardwares instead. Hoping that the “K” hardware was not crucial to the structural integrity of the entertainment center, I began construction. The very labor intensive, solo construction that took over 2 hours and resulted in blisters all over my right palm and middle finger from screwing in an excessive amount of screws and miscellaneous apparatuses. I only had to take one piece off and reattach it due to being put on wrong initially, so I would say instructions are… okayish. Acceptable in that the thing can get built from them but it’s hard to determine which direction boards should be facing at times. Turns out, the “K” hardware was needed for the sliding doors but I improvised by using the two extra “L” hardware pieces as one “K” hardware piece and voila! A functional entertainment center. It’s solid, holds my 65 inch TV perfectly, which was the goal. The price point of $150 is decent for the quality of material and overall value. I have, however, promised myself that all future furniture purchases will be preassembled, to include delivery and installation. Because this was an endeavor. Good luck! P.S. Two people and a power drill could potentially do this in the 45 minutes they say it should take to construct.
