Bought this chair with knowing of " You get What You Pay For". This really isn't the case with this chair. I mean, you're not getting good quality, but you're definitely getting your money's worth and a little more. Fabric seems super durable, easy to assemble and very comfortable.     • Exactly what I needed

I must confess, I had read some reviews about this chair being "too small for tall people" but I am 6'1" and this chair is perfect. Sure, the foot rest when the chair is reclined isn't long enough to support my feet but that's not nearly as important and the headrest being tall enough -- and it is. I had a small space between my bed and the wall, not large enough for those over-stuffed recliners that are so comfy and huge, but this one fits perfectly in that small space. I was also pleasantly surprised at how well it supports my lower back, keeping me from slouching too much as my old chair caused me to do. I supports my back in all the right places. It's firm, yet soft enough to be comfy. Putting it together took me literally about 45 seconds. You simply push the back down onto its supports, snapping into place, and screw on the 4 feet on the bottom. It's that simple. It had a bit of a new-materials odor to it but I noticed by the next morning that odor had already disappeared. I'm very pleased and satisfied with my purchase.     • Not comfy as a recliner
These are attractive, a really pretty blue and i like the fabric texture. I bought two and they make great armchairs in my small study. BUT. I originally planned to use them as recliners to watch TV in—NOT a good fit! There is no lever to recline them, you have to use your body weight and then they fold up on you slowly, slowly like an anaconda. Eventually you're dying and have to throw your strength into backing them up again. Because of their smaller size an average person will dangle head and foot. Very comfortable. I ordered two and they fit great into our small den. The only downside is if you sit down in it and you have work to do, you might not get up again and/or fall asleep. lol

This chair is relative cheap and easy to assemble, and light enough for one person to move (albeit by scooting--lifting is awkward due to its shape and size and lack of handholds). I like its narrowness and firmness compared with the ubiquitous Lazy-Boy style recliners. It's rather comfortable as long as I scoot back far enough that my feet don't dangle off the end--that cuts off circulation. However, one must be careful to recline slowly because it tips backward easily. The fabric feels a little coarse, which I don't much mind, but it doesn't hold up well to cat claws--in only a couple days, it developed several small and large snags. (It looks worse off than the fabric on our 30+ year old couch, which the cats like just as much.) Also, at one point, I tried to lever myself into a more comfy position, and my elbow cracked the apparently hollow wood in the right armrest, creating a dent under the fabric. (No, I'm not overweight.) It's still perfectly functional, so we'll continue to use it as long as it lasts, but if I were to buy another chair, I'd go for something sturdier. ... show more

My first impressions of these chairs are quite positive. I needed to replace my old, overstuffed recliner with two recliners - that would fit in basically the same space (more about that below). These recliners fill the bill quite well. However, the foot rests may not extend out far enough for people taller than I am. I stand 5'7" tall. My feet extend past the foot rests. For me, the overhang is not far enough to be uncomfortable. But for someone with longer legs, these chairs may not be the right fit. Also the seats are narrow (at 19", just 2" wider than a typical airline seat). So if you find airline seats a bit tight, these chairs may not be the right fit for you. My family room is long and narrow, and the only suitable place for a TV is at one end. But watching TV from the other end puts you too far from the screen. For many years, I have watched TV from a recliner positioned more or less in the middle of the room. Now I have a need to accommodate a second viewer. The best answer was to find a compact recliner that would allow me to position two of them in about the same space previously occupied by my big old overstuffed recliner (plus an end table). These recliners have allowed me to accomplish that goal. I thought about buying a loveseat recliner (two individual recliners in one piece of furniture), but we experimented with a non-reclining loveseat and found being seated shoulder-to-shoulder to be unsatisfactory. We have found the seating arrangement shown in the photo to be the better solution. Having two individual chairs slightly apart at an angle to each other actually seems to facilitate interaction between the two viewers. I have had these recliners for less than a full day, so I can't speak to durability, but my initial impression is that they are well made, especially considering the low price. The seats are comfortable. Assembly was quite easy (the backs just snap into place, no tools required). The "legs" are non-marring, and seem not to slide around excessively on my hardwood floors. The faux leather upholstery seems substantial and should be east to keep clean. Overall, I have nothing negative to comment on. If that changes over time, I will update this review. ... show more
