Looked forward to these two products: Midnight Blue and Orchid Shimmer. Both products were much lighter on my skin than the seemingly saturated colors in their ad. There is a large, bulbous crayon which makes it difficult to put on -- and if you try to smear it, it just rubs off. Cheap product with good looking advertisements. Plus, since I bought two from the same website, they're only letting me return the midnight blue, not the Orchid Shimmer. Now why is that? I wouldn't trust this company again so I am advising anyone looking at reviews to not buy the products. I received a message from seller through Amazon messaging offering me a full refund on both products. Didn't care for the make-up but their Customer Service is stellar!! ... show more

Ok. I was on the Thrive bandwagon purchasing the eye brighteners that they sell. They are expensive! Granted they do last a long time and the quality is really good, its just the price.....but I love eye shadow sticks! I stumbled across the Julep eye shadow sticks on Amazon and saw that they are also waterproof (perfect for 110 degree TX weather) and way less expensive than the Thrive brand so I bought 2 colors to try. Man did I fall in love with these! I currently have 4 colors and I use them daily. They glide on and basically turn into a waterproof powdery eye shadow. Note one thing....I did buy the shimmery ivory color which is great to brighten the inside crease and outside crease of your eye BUT it does not look all that great as just an eye shadow. I'm over 45 and have Teams video meetings a lot and this color looks awful on camera IF you are just using it as an eye shadow. Just use it as a highlighter works best. ... show more

I’ve wanted this exact product for years. Eyeshadow palettes drive me crazy! I don’t want to use my fingers to apply it but I always lose any brush or applicator I get. Plus I need eyeshadow that fits in my purse that won’t possibly open and get powder everywhere. Problem solved now. It’s perfect.

I finally found the perfect combo for me: I use Maybelline's 36-hr Tattoo Studio liner, apply the Julep stick shadow, then finsh off by applying this Julep Onyx stick over my liner and it seems to set it and keep it in place all day - even through a serious workout. I put on light makeup for work and the less crap I have to pull out of my makeup bag at 6am, the easier my morning is. This is so quick & easy to apply, and even take with me if I'm on the go without having to grab a brush and powder that I'll probably drop and break after 5 uses. It dries nicely and if there's a smudge that looks uneven, it has a nice little sponge on the other end to fix it. I use the matte putty as a sheer coverup for under my eyes, and have two colors I use for my eyelids. They go on so smoothly, and STAY. Unlike powder that seems to wear away and can put residue on your face when applying, there's none of that with this eyeshadow! So glad I found it!
