I’m genuinely impressed with this belt. After getting frustrated with the low-quality options at my local uniform retailer, I decided to give this one a try. Just feed the end through the buckle and ratchet it to your preferred tightness. My only minor gripe, and it's very minor, is the release mechanism. It's a bit small and took me a moment to figure out the first time. For a second, I honestly thought I’d have to cut it off. Just received, so longevity is an unknown for me at the time. But I'll say this. I absolutely love the belt. It's a solid 1.5" wide and that means the world to me. I'm a big guy and narrow belts just aren't my thing. But I LOVE how thick and sturdy it is too. The buckle/ratchet assembly is confidence inspiring and the very short adjustments means no matter the day, I'm comfortable with the proper amount of tension on my jeans. Thought it's not a "dress" belt I'd have zero issue throwing this on my slacks and wearing it to work either. It's THAT good. No stretch at all, but I prefer that. I will say this. The product presentation is phenomenal. A nice box and an outer sleeve, and inside was a warranty card and sizing guide made out of a paper/cardboard that wouldn't tear. Sturdy belt, nice construction, minimal branding. Heavy, which I like. Opening mechanism takes a little bit to get used to but it is very easy to adjust. My one petty complaint is this is a bit pricey (in my eyes) for a no-name made in China Amazon item. Came in fancy but unnecessary packaging. Good quality rugged belt and buckle. Needed a strong, breathable nylon belt with an easily adjustable metal buckle thats reliable and holds in place, and this is it. Cotton canvas belts that lack drying aren't good for cold situations, and nylon/plastic buckles may get you to a flight in ease, yet may not hold up to attaching gear/personal protection, especially in cold cracking temperatures. This belt and buckle will. It's not a stretch type belt, and I recently bought a similar belt with the same type of buckle that has a little stretch for those times I need that feature, all other applications this belt is awesome. Very good quality at an awesome price. This product is not as stiff and rigid as the ratchet belt that cost three times as much. I actually have that one. I do not hardly where it anymore. This belt is much better and more comfortable to me. I have bought two already. Great belt and works perfectly.

I wanted a nylon belt like my duty belt, but less heavy duty. This is a perfect option! The belt is well made and the ratchet mechanism is smooth and holds securely. I had to take a couple inches off, which was easy to do. It looks nice and is comfortable to wear.

This belt is freaking awesome. Definitely recommend it. I've always used the VANS brand belts, and they're okay. The last one I bought lasted me about 3 years before the metal started coming off the end of it and constantly catching on every loop. It just went downhill from there. So I decided to try this belt and wow! I've been missing out. This belt is very high quality. It's thick but not too thick. You can cut the end of the belt to your liking, and that end goes into the backside of the buckle and is never seen. So you don't have to worry about your cut being seen. I had that worry at first when reading the description, but once you get the item and realize how it works, it's no biggie. Then once you start using the belt, it's very nice and convenient to use. It ratchets almost like a ratcheting wrench. The color is just right, and it adjusts so easily. Give it a try. I think you'll like it. (I rarely give such good reviews, but this is an item that went above and beyond for me, for what I had imagined. I think it's due to me only using VANS belts. I finally tried something else that's super good) ... show more
