This juicer showed up on a weekday morning, and I unpacked it right away because I’d been wanting something simple for quick breakfasts. The first thing I tried was a mix of apples and carrots. The 3 inch feed chute made it so much easier since I didn’t have to cut everything into tiny pieces. I dropped the pieces in, pressed the lid down, and it zipped through them faster than I expected. The 1200W motor has a strong sound but not an annoying one, and the machine stayed steady on the counter without wobbling. After a couple of days I got into the habit of using it before work. Sometimes I use the lower speed for softer fruits like oranges and berries, and the higher speed when I toss in harder things like beets. The juice jug is a good size because I can make enough for two glasses in one go. Cleanup is always the part I worry about with any kitchen appliance, but the stainless steel parts rinse off easily and the mesh filter doesn’t clog as badly as others I’ve tried.
