I have olive skin so it does take extra time to rub in the cream so that it fades into my skin. I decided to put it on an hour before I leave the house so that it does begin to absorb and when I rub it in closer to when I am leaving it fades in much easier. This product feels like it is really protecting your skin and is much more waterproof than other sun creen moisturizers I have used, because even to wash it off my hands takes time with soap. I bought it because of the recommendation of EWG I was fine with the smell and the moisturizing quality was ok for me as I use another moisturizer at night so this for the day was fine. Something I could not understand however is the instruction to shake or knead the tube before using. The cream is not of the consistency to shake and the tube is very full so kneading is not possible until maybe half used. I would hope Juice Beauty would be able to guarantee that the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout.

I have spent so much money trying different products and I usually use expensive skincare but most of them don’t have high spf, so I use this under my regular daily day cream. I’m highly allergic to most creams because of the percentage and type of alcohol and chemicals that they contain. And I’ve had no problem using this product. It smells pretty descent for being an organic. It lasts pretty well under the makeup. You make your skin a favor using this product, specially if you’re a flight crew or fly a lot.

I give this moisturizer three stars because I think it is probably high quality; it just didn't work for me. I have been using the moisturizer without the sunscreen for a long time, and it is fabulous, but my skin did not react well to the sunscreen formula. When I applied it, my face burned and turned red immediately. It also peeled after a couple of days, almost as if I had been sunburned! (I had not, it wasn't even sunny on the day I tried it!) The main reason I wanted to review this is for others who might be using the moisturizer already, like me, and are thinking that this will be the same thing, except with sun protection - it's not. That doesn't mean it might not work for you; it just didn't work for me. Also, it is tinted (as are pretty much all sunscreens containing zinc oxide). This wasn't a problem for me, as I have a fair complexion, but for those of you with darker olives or browns in your coloring, it might leave an off-white cast.

Maybe anything this effective is going to feel like a layer of zinc oxide going on but if you apply while face still damp and work it in, you won’t look like Queen Elizabeth I all day,

So let me start with saying I have extremely sensitive and acne prone skin. I am also a 26 year old caucasian female that is in the sun quite a bit and not prone to burning. I'd heard great reviews about this product line and figured I'd give it a try since, PCA was out of my usual spf cream, and sadly broke out from the new use. That aside it dried matte and had a very light (barley noticeable) scent that reminded me of fruit. My skin while using it (cause i gave it a couple of goes just in case) never burned and it did help blur the appearance of larger pores which was a nice surprise but my skin couldn't handle it.

It took me a while to settle on this. I had a very strict criteria I was looking for. My skin was very dry but I had to use something oil free. I also wanted something all natural/organic if possible. This product fit that bill, using organic ingredients and non nano zinc oxide as an active ingredient. I have used it in the sun and it definitely works, with spf 30. It is not super smooth when you rub it in and does not absorb like other moisturizers do, but this way you'll know your face is being protected. As far as moisturizing, these ingredients are great for your skin as far as I can tell, but if you have super dry skin, you may want to think about using a moisturizer before this because zinc oxide can be drying. It is a small bottle, but I've learned that it actually lasts quite a while because you don't need that much for your face. I know this is expensive for a face moisturizer/sunscreen, but I've looked, and I don't think there's really anything else like it out there.

LOVE the amazing smell and the silky feel of this cream. LOVE the clean organic ingredients with no toxic sludge added. TOO SAD this great cream feels intolerably sticky on my skin. I just showered, dried and applied. Felt so sticky afterward that had to splash my face with water again to rinse off all the stickiness... PLEASE make a cream just as clean and amazing smelling but without the stickiness!

I love this product. My husband also really likes the light earthy scent. It goes on easily and I don't sweat with it like I do with sunscreens.
