Should I Buy It?

Yes, if you're in need of a spacious, rugged case for your SteamDeck or similar devices, and you plan to carry various accessories alongside it. This case is well-regarded for its protective qualities and thoughtful features, making it a solid choice despite minor concerns with the velcro and zipper design.

  • Great case
Had this for a few years now and it works great has plenty of room for extra accessories. I’ve got a folding keyboard, wireless mouse, the steam deck and the dock along with any necessary cables and still has room for more stuff if you position it all correctly and if I happen to drop it or something everything with be well protected. ... show more

  • Amazing case
It can hold my steam deck, the docking station, my NEWQ battery bank and stand, my iclever portable keyboard, display port cable, 2 more usb cables, and the power adapter. The bag doesn't look like it's going to burst, and the zippers are staying strong. The handle could use a more comfortable design, but the case itself is great. It has completely replaced the original steam deck case for me. ... show more

  • Good, but could be great.
It does hold a lot, but there is no way to make an Xbox one controller fit adequately without it pressing down on the joysticks. No matter how careful you are or how close you follow the instructions and their video. It doesn’t work and is not possible. Heck, even in their video, if you listen closely, you can here the joysticks clicking down… That being said, it will fit, but only with the joysticks firmly pressed down. I was able to fit a full size Xbox one hdmi cord, 1 steam charging cable, their docking station, a charging pass through hub with usb inputs for the wireless mouse & keyboard, a 20,000mah battery & cables, and a full size red dragon gaming mouse. I still have to carry my 75% size mechanical keyboard separately, but for $20, I can’t complain too much considering it’s carrying 90% of my stuff for travel & mobile LAN parties with the bros. I’m sure if I bought one of those super thin cheap keyboards (maybe a foldable one), a smaller mouse, that’d all fit, and would be optimal, but I even tried a smaller controller from 8-BitDo and that doesn’t even fit in this case without pressing on the joysticks firmly. I don’t think any controller would really fit this case adequately. I’m going to run the 8-BitDo in here with the joysticks firmly pressed and we’ll see how long she lasts. As is, it all fits nicely into my small day pack & carry on without having everything strewn about. If this product was just a 1/4” thicker, I bet all these controllers would fit without issue. It’s soooooo close, but just not there yet. ... show more

  • Good option for traveling
Easily fit my anne pro 2 a 20,000mah power bank a 10 foot long charger and mouse however as you can see my outlet adapter is too big to fit (white box) if i have my mouse in this picture i also have the steam deck in the case with a deckmate on it no issue id also like to point out that this is the only large case i could find with micro sd card slots instead of sd card slots which is nice because the steam deck doesnt accept sd cards? The velcro on my case is not strong enough to stay closed with all this weight on it so i normally open the case backwards for what makes the most sense this case is large keep that in mind you can fit 2 steam decks in it you want this case only if you want all of your deck stuff in one case otherwise i recommend when traveling to stick with the oem case and throw your accessories in your bag this case is most likely over kill for most people ... show more

  • Spacious!
I cannot complain. I was very picky on the selection of cases available the other night for my SteamDeck. I wanted space to store a charger, my cables, and maybe a dock. I was hesitant because this case had no reviews and I didn't see any press on it. I liked the images but had questions and some hesitation, but I pulled the trigger. It was well worth the risky purchase. I was amazed by the size of the case, and then when I found out I could fit a controller in it, I was happy. However if I had to criticize or make a suggestion on the next batch: maybe make a modification so the Xbox controllers' thumbsticks have some clearance, if possible. It works but the Velcro that secures the top storage compartment isn't completely flush when a controller is inside. Now I'm going to get one of those folding keyboards and toss in my Anker Dongle Hub Dock, and I'll be all set. I think there's enough space to put a proper stand or docking stand in the storage compartment too. This thing can fit just about anything you should need in it. ... show more

  • Wanted this to be great. But it has a few issues that if fixed would make it great.
I got tired of carrying around all the accessories for my steam deck in My pockets and bags. I wanted a case that could hold a nice amount of accessories and protected my deck. Based off of the description and the pictures, it was exactly what I was looking for and more. It looked like I can fit my dual sense, a small keyboard, a mouse, the dock, and my charger. This thing was a dream... Then it arrived And reality set in. Put the steam deck in there and It was a good fit I like it. The problem is the top plate. It is cut to protect the buttons and the sticks, but it takes up a lot of room of the storage area. I put my dual sense in there. Just like It showed in the picture and in the instructions pamphlet it came with. And as I closed, the top plate for the top half of the case it started pressing down on the Dual sense controller sticks. And in the picture it had a keyboard under it and it was implied to be able to close, but that is not the case. I put the controller in and for the top plate to close i had to force it down a little. the top plate doesn't quite fit without it being bent. And when I tried to zip it up I had to push the corner in for it to close all the way. Even with just the steam deck it doesn't zip up smoothly. When I closed the case with the steam deck and the the controller I can feel The dual sense sticks being pressed in when I pressed on the lid. Last thing I noticed is the ventilation grooves seem to be more for show. I say this because there's enough space under the steam deck even without the grooves, for the good air flow. ... show more
