When I moved into my new apartment, I learned that there were already some very unwanted & unwelcome creepy, crawly roaches living here. Worried about my dog getting sick from cross contamination, I decided to try boric acid. I didn't do the sugar & flour thing but instead sprinkled the stuff all around the perimeter of KY entire apartment. I really dumped a bunch underneath the bathroom vanity and along the wall I share with another tenant. Sure enough, there was suddenly much heavier activity at first, now I only occasionally see one of the nasty things crawling across my floor, even at night when I go and turn on a light. A couple of my neighbors use a professional company. The folks that rely on the landlord to spray... well, it's just BAD! Every few months, I sweep up all the old boric acid and any dead bugs I find and replace fresh new boric acid and I can say that I rarely see the nasty things anymore, quite an accomplishment considering how bad they are everywhere else! My only complaint is that this stuff can kinda clog up instead of pouring out smoothly. Easily solved by sitting the bottle down and sort of banging it against a hard surface. I struggled with the application of this product. The lid unscrewed amd fell off instead of the top opening more than once. Could be operator error but I struugled and knowing it is poisonous was frustrating.

I had trouble finding boric acid in stores.Guess more than just I have roach and flea problems in my area (always sold out). This was a convenient and quick order. Seems to me to be of a better quality. Seemed to last a little longer than the "usual store brands".
