Very air tight and keep food nice and fresh for a couple days. Sizes are mostly useful, though several never get used because they are either too small or too large. Lids are an issue. The top of the largest rectangle bowl will not close. 3 of the tabs on the lid of large round bowl broke off with use. I would not purchase again.
