I bought two of these over a year ago and they're both still going strong after daily use. They extend play for at least a couple hours beyond the system battery, probably longer than that, as I've never run out of power using one of these even during longer gaming sessions. I also occasionally use one to fast charge my phone, as it's very quick restoring my phone to full power. It sits comfortably around the neck and doesn't interfere with play like when I ran a cord from a battery carried in my pocket. It occasionally heats up but never unbearably hot for me. Takes a while to fully charge back up, and as with all batteries I'm leery letting them charge unattended overnight, but I've never experienced an issue or overheating during charging. I highly recommend these as long as they keep making them with the same standards and quality of the two I bought last year.

I usually don’t write reviews but this is infinitely better than the other options I’ve tried and it’s worth your time and money. So for context I was originally using 2 5000MAH batteries designed for the quest 2 that normally go on the side rail but since the quest 3 didn’t support those, I was using Velcro ties to keep them in the middle of the Kiwi elite strap headband. I absolutely HATED this setup but was too lazy to buy something else. Eventually I caved in and bought this one. I wasn’t too jazzed about the form factor since I hated the idea of having batteries so close to my chest but they wound up being barely noticeable in practice. For my use case they lasted about 5 hours while playing VRchat on virtual desktop on the low streaming settings so your mileage may vary and you may want a second one if you want to run at at a higher preset.. The cable is slightly noticeable at first when plugged in but it doesn’t pull down on the quest at all so it’s good for high motion stuff as well. When actually using it I barely noticed either the cable or the battery pack which is everything to look for with this kind of design. Overall it’s a great value backed by a reliable brand when you consider how bad the quest battery is without it. With this it’s so effortless to just put on your neck and get a long binge of VR after a long day.

Well, what can I say; this works. At first it may feel a bit heavy around your neck; but it is very easy to get used to and soon you don't notice. I haven't used it too much yet, but I can say that it has met my expectation. Before I got this battery pack I could play my Quest 3 for about 2 hours before the batteries died and it would shut down. On my initial test with this, I played for 2 1/2 hours and my battery was still at 90%. When I plugged this in to recharge, it seemed that it was about 1/2 full still. I'm not sure I have the stamina to play until this battery pack dies; my guess is it would probably go for 4 to 6 hours. Also, I was concerned it may get hot but that did not happen; it stayed cool the whole time that I used it. It has met my expectation and has extended my gaming time long enough that I should probably be taking a break anyway. I'm glad that I bought this battery pack, it was exactly what I needed.

It does actually make my Meta Quest stay alive longer although the kind of games I play put it at more like an extra 3-4 hours. It looks kinda dumb but so do VR headsets in general so its really more about the performance. I can't stand having a long cord tethering me to my computer or wall charger and this fixes the issue at least until the battery dies and i'm forced to take a break.

Perfect for anyone who wants to add a little extra battery life. Even if you have an external battery already. I am able to plug this to my external battery which is plugged my headset which easily doubles the time I can play. With this combined with the battery that's already attached to my headset. I can easily play for as much as 6 hours at a time. I can even charge this while it charges everything else. While i'm playing. And it's so comfortable to wear that a lot of times I forget I have it on

I recently got a Quest 3 and was super bummed with the short battery life. If you’re playing a demanding game like Asgard’s Wrath 2, Golf+, or Assassin’s Creed, you’ll literally get about 30 minutes out of it, maybe a bit more with battery saver on. This battery pack, however, extends the playtime to at least a couple of hours. I haven’t pushed it to the limits yet, but the Quest’s battery percentage didn’t drop once while playing Golf+ for an hour, and the battery pack was still at around 50%. So, if you’re planning on getting a Quest 3, this is essential. Plus, it’s comfy sitting around your neck, it actually looks nice and not too heavy.

Does exactly what you need it to do, extend meta game time, this was even able to charge the headset while actively playing a game on it, most I've tried will just hold the power at the level it's being used, I'm not sure if this is a positive or a negative but it's been my experience. Overall fantastic value here I personally like the way the straps that come with the meta work I have tried halo style straps on the psvr2, the rift 2 and some windows mixed reality headsets back in the day and could never get used to the pressure on the back of my head. This setup lets me have an upgraded battery without having to buy an "upgraded" head strap.
